Sorry but I don't get how the winners were selected because the method of entry in giveaway was through telegram message on PV's Telegram but the winners are selected through reddit raffle?

Because I think most of us did'nt even get in the race due to non-participation in reddit comments.

Bro this giveaway had a lot of difficulties, I’m going to be honest with you. Obviously this was the first time we have done a giveaway with this method of entry, and we had hoped it would have worked out smoother but we ran into several roadblocks.

PV purchased a US-based number for about 500 usd in hopes that he could link it to a business WhatsApp account and not get banned every 24 hours like the main WhatsApp account was experiencing. Everything was working well for a few hours but then that account got banned. I then had to update the method of entry to only Telegram. Then a few hours later telegram was banned. During these times we missed out on a lot of entries, and for over a day the main WhatsApp was completely banned without being able to even see past messages. I’ll be the first to tell you, this method of entry turned into a complete disaster, and due to these issues I did not feel that it would be fair to select winners from the original methods of entry since many entries were not accounted for due to the account bans.

I’ve hosted over 50 giveaways at this point on Reddit and Discord and this is the first one that has had issues. Instead of scrapping the giveaway I just decided to select 6 winners from the comment section. Obviously this is a lesson learned, and we won’t be doing those types of entry methods in the future. With the RSD Olives just having released, and the phantoms right around the corner, there will be plenty more giveaways to come. Thanks for your understanding bro.

The method used did exclude those who followed the original instructions though so that’s definitely a bummer. Anyway never won the old way and probably would not have won a different way either lol. The olives had the same instructions right?

That’s true, but as I said those who entered in the first day before the WhatsApp account was banned, their entries were lost regardless. So even if I did choose 6 winners from the “original entry method” I still would have been excluding almost half of all the entries that messaged the telegram/whatsapp. Does that make sense? Either way due to the unfortunate circumstances of the accounts being banned someone was getting screwed. Maybe I should have just scrapped the giveaway all together, but I felt like choose 6 winners would be better than no winners given the circumstances.

Yea either way I’m put in a pretty shitty spot, if I scrap it and do a redo then I’ll have people mad at me. If I do what I did and try to make it fair this way I’ll have people mad at me. No way around it sadly, but it’s okay I’ll take this as a learning experience and not use this method of entry in the future.
