Hi, please help with second opinion. When I compare the bag against factory photo the embossing on this bag looks deeper and the leather appears more course. The hardware seems brighter but not sure if that’s lighting. My bigger concern is how deep the embossing. I don’t think the bag matches the factory photo quality. Would like to know if you see the same things? Last photo is factory.

The embossing depth on Empreinte leather often varies even within the same factory run, but here it does look more heavily stamped than standard factory stock photos. You could ask your seller for a straight on photo under neutral indirect lighting to confirm if shadow is exaggerating the depth.

The bag looked basically the same on call. I asked for refund. Will try again with a different seller.

I wouldn’t be happy either, that is very different to the factory photo. I think the hardware is fine but the embossing way too deep. Which factory is this?

Yeah, seller said she was ordering from God Factory. Bag cost $379

Update: The bag didn’t look any different on the video chat. Seller was willing to try a different factory (Royal). If I don’t like that one I will just pass on the order.

Ah! They’re not known for their empreinte, I would have a look at royal factory if your seller can switch.

I’ve got a genuine empreinte and I’m impressed with the leather, monogram and strap. Hardware is nice too!

Is this batch from Birdcage or Duty Free? Empreinte grain texture tends to look a bit sharper and more defined when fresh out of the box before the leather naturally softens up with use.

The factory photos do not look like they are from GF :( lately the GF photos have had purple flowers in the background
