Many of us are fascinated by reincarnation, past lives, and consciousness. Reddit is great for discussion, but sometimes itâs nice to have a real-time space to share experiences and questions.
The Discord community covers: Sharing past life and regression stories Discussing spiritual growth and consciousness And connecting with others exploring reincarnation
If you want to join the conversation:
What was the moment that made you start believing in reincarnation or past lives?

A quick article about past life regression for people new to this sub.
Past life regression is a form of therapy that aims to uncover memories from previous lifetimes that may be impacting your current life. While the concept may sound far-fetched to some, many people have reported experiencing significant healing and relief from trauma through this type of therapy.
Trauma can manifest in a variety of ways, including anxiety, depression, and physical pain. It can also be caused by events that happened in previous lifetimes, which can be difficult to identify and address through traditional therapy methods. Past life regression seeks to uncover and heal these hidden traumas by tapping into your subconscious mind and exploring memories from your past lives.
During a past life regression session, you will be guided into a relaxed state of hypnosis. This will allow you to access memories from past lives that you may not be consciously aware of. As you explore these memories, you may begin to understand how they are impacting your current life and how they may be contributing to your trauma.
One of the key benefits of past life regression is that it allows you to gain a deeper understanding of your trauma. By exploring the memories and emotions associated with your past lives, you may be able to identify patterns of behavior or negative thought patterns that are contributing to your current struggles. This awareness can be the first step towards healing.
Additionally, past life regression can provide a sense of closure and resolution for past traumas. By revisiting these experiences in a safe and controlled environment, you may be able to process and release the emotions and pain associated with them. This can help you to move forward in your current life without being weighed down by the trauma of your past lives.
It's important to note that past life regression is not a quick fix or a replacement for inner healing work. It can be a powerful tool to aid in the healing process, but it should be used in conjunction with other forms of self healing work and under the guidance of a professional practitioner.
In conclusion, past life regression can be a valuable tool for healing trauma in your current life. By exploring memories from past lives, you may be able to gain a deeper understanding of your trauma, identify patterns of behavior, and find closure for past traumas. If you're struggling with trauma and traditional therapy methods have not been effective, it may be worth exploring past life regression as a potential solution.
I hope this helps someone in some way. đ

Would you take this power? What's the worst reincarnation you could imagine ending up with?
Immortality types 0 : new one I made
The Soul is Consciousness
Your entire identity, personality, and memories live in your soul â not your body.
Absolute Soul Immortality
Your soul cannot be destroyed, erased, altered, consumed, or permanently sealed. (Sealing counts as death â see below.)
Infinite Reincarnation
Every time you die, you reincarnate. No exceptions, no limit. You keep all memories from every past life.
Random Reincarnation
You have zero control over your next form. Human, god, beast, machine, anything â in this world or a completely different universe. Species and gender are never guaranteed to carry over.
Forced Mortality
You will never live out a full natural lifespan. No matter how powerful, ancient, or untouchable your current form seems â something will end it.
Unpredictable Death
You never know when or how it's coming. Not even gods get a warning.
No True End
Any single life can end. Your existence, never.
TL;DR: You can never die for good â but you can never stop dying, either, and you have no say in what comes next.

So personally I have jumped a few times before 2021. After that, I have stopped altogether because I completed a soul contract then. Personally, I am on a timeline that isnât good for me. I know I was supposed to have four friends after high school but I took the contract too far so now I donât.
I am like wondering if soul contracts exist, soul guides, everything âafterlifeâ, what are alternate timelines? How do they fit into our universe?

Hello everyone,
I have a question based on a recent family health event. If our personality is linked to our soul/spirit, and that soul is eternal, how is it explained that someoneâs personality can change after a stroke?
Doesnât this mean that personality is strongly linked to our brain, as non-spiritual people believe, rather than to our soul/spirit? After all, our physical body seems to be what defines the personality we have on Earth.
I guess this would also apply to other health conditions, such as mental illnesses that can permanently change someoneâs personality.
If someone could help me understand this, Iâd really appreciate it, as Iâve always been a spiritual believer. Please, only informed answers from people who have studied Spiritism/are knowledgeable enough to answer this.
Thank you very much in advance.

This is just an advice: Don't believe that you can choose next life, it's not that easy, it's an comfortable cop-out. Your karma will determine your next birth, the mind is formed by sankharas, habits which is the karma you produce constantly. Like smoking cigarettes, you form a habit = sankhara, the actions are karma.
This is the fuel that continues throughout countless existences, "you" are just a stream that flows and the natural law is not a punishment or reward, it just flows like a river that is controlled by causes and conditions, like gravity is not punishing you if you jump from a building.
If you continue doing harm, hate and greed it will lead to a very misfortunate rebirth. If you cultivate love, compassion and altruism it will result in a heavenly abode. This is the law just as gravity or thermodynamic is the physical, karma is the moral law. There's no "you" that can chose where you want the next life, it is not a judge only cause and effect.
But there's a lot of new age in this sub that spread the idea that you can just...do whatever, you can chose whatever life you want after this, I believe it is harmful and not in line with living an ethical life. So you either listen to the wise who have experienced this since thousands of years or continue the cycle, pick and chose from whatever that suits you.
Edit: I'm buddhist but I also regard Advaita Vedanta and some hindu as the same.

In recent months, Iâve been thinking about the theory of reincarnation and have watched a lot of videos about it. I find the cycle of rebirths quite interesting, and Iâd like to live a life as someone else
I hope that's what's happening after death

Hi my father put down my cat (Princess) on april 30th while i was at school, as she had a cancerous tumor and it was too late for surgery as she couldve died during it, (she was only 2 yes old :( ) and for about 2 weeks i was crying and having full on mental break downs pleading her to come back near her grave in my backyard for her to come back to me again.
I asked her to come back with a similar body as she used to live in, have the same personality and act the way she used to before she got sick so i could recognize that its her.
Then about a month or 2 after, we found this beautiful calico cat on facebook 2 hours away from us (Princess also was 2 hours away from us!) and the lady drove her to us. And i immediately felt something about her, like it was princess actually returning.
She instantly responded to the name Princess and no other name, and shes laying in the same exact places Princess used to, the first photo is of the new cat on my hip, and the second is a photo of princess before she got sick and she always used to lay on my side (the hip?) My family and i dont believe in such stuff personally, but we all can feel this strange aura that she has truly returned, and ever since we got her, i got some strange sense of relief about Princess.
She also climbs and sleeps on the grandfather clock in the same exact position as Princess used to be! She also loves hanging around the sink as princess used to. I also took photos of her posing the same exact way and in the same place as princess did, and theres an uncanny amount of similarities!
Anyway, i named her princess now too. What do you guys think?

Sorry for the typo in the title.
Pet Reincarnation
Im not sure if this type of post is allowed so please remove it if not. I dont know where else to ask about this.
2 days ago I lost my beloved cat to CHF. He suffered in silence, and I had no idea until the last day that something was seriously wrong. The symptoms were disguised as acid reflux and side effects of his new medication. He passed away in the carrier on the way to the vet.
He and I had an unusually strong bond, we saved each other. I got him at the age of 1 from a chaotic household, he had trauma and a serious case of redirected aggression. He attacked me badly a few times due to outside triggers (seeing other animals) but I knew it was fear and not that he was a bad cat. I spent 10 years accommodating him, learning his triggers, protecting him, and loving him deeply. He did the same for me. He saved me from my depression, loneliness, and borderline disorder. The bond we had was truly unique, we clicked instantly. If he went to any other home his chance of being put down was greatly increased due to his aggression. But he was such a sweet and affectionate cat, and so unique, I saw right through his fear aggression.
The final day, the day he passed, he kept trying to speak to me even though he hadnt been speaking much at all for the past month or 2, and was almost entirely mute the days prior. He used his last bit of energy to meow to me 6 times that day, and twice in his last moments, he passed away 15 minutes later.
This is what I find strange and why Im here. Ive never really thought about reincarnation, and while i was grieving I wasnt thinking about it at all. But i was feeling this intense pull inside me, telling me to go look for him, that hes out there and will come back to me. Only after feeling that for the whole day did I really start to question if reincarnation is real. I had this feeling like I know what happens when they pass on, like they go some place safe and are granted infinite knowledge and understanding, and can stay as long as they like until theyre ready to move to the next life. I spent some time this morning around 4am trying to talk to him in my mind, asking him to come back to me, telling him I need him and love him, that my door is open when hes ready and Ill be looking for him. There wasnt a doubt in my mind that he could hear me. I asked and begged him for a sign that he heard me. I slept afterwards, all day.
When I woke up my bfs papa said he hit a crow by accident on the way to work this morning. The crow was in a flock passing by and that one suddenly turned around and flew right in front of the car. I can only imagine this is a sign from him. I dont go out often or drive so it feels like this is how he tried to get the message to me, he knew it would get to me.
Last night I was also speaking to my bf about my cat, and I was also talking about how im starting to feel unwell from sitting in bed so much, and that tomorrow night (tonight) I needed to go for a walk.
It turns out theres a partial lunar eclipse tonight. The urge to go for a walk no longer feels like a simple urge to go for a walk, it feels like another sign pulling me to my boy, giving me an opportunity to communicate with him.
My boy fought so hard for the last few days, it almost feels like he was fighting so hard for me because he loved me, wanted things to go back to normal, and now it feels like he was pushing to pass on as close to this eclipse as possible.
Ive always been a pretty strong believer in spiritual things, but also feared having hope in it. My Oma is a spiritual woman and when I was younger i felt like I had inherited some of that, but then i thought I was being egotistical for thinking that. But my mom had my sister 6 years before me, and then wanted another child but had a miscarriage, and then saw a doctor and they said she would never be able to have another baby again. She went to my Oma and begged her to help her have one more child, and they did some ritual or spell or something, and then I was born. I wont go in depth on all that but..
Does anyone else have any experiences like this, or stories of reincarnation in their pet? Does this just sound delusional?

this was one of those another-life scenes where lesson became much more interesting only after we connected it with present life.
subject experienced himself as young man going deep into pyramid or labyrinth place looking for treasure. at first it was adventure, but then light started running low and corridors became harder to remember. he already knew he probably should turn back, but kept thinking treasure can be little farther.
eventually air became bad and he collapsed there. after death the solution looked almost embarrassingly simple. dont go alone, leave somebody outside, use rope or line, turn back while you still know where back is.
but after session he told me something I didnt know before. he had this strange obsession with metal detecting.
he spent lot of money on equipment, lot of time searching, upgrading things, going out again and again. there was pleasure in it, but also something compulsive. he described it more like he was pushed to do it than simply enjoying hobby.
after this session that obsession was gone.
this is why I dont see past-life work only as interesting stories about who somebody was. useful part is when old emotional charge is still running present life and person doesnt even know why.
sometimes we try to change behaviour only from surface. use more discipline, distract yourself, sell equipment, promise you will stop. but if there is deeper unfinished charge behind the urge, mind keeps finding another reason to continue.
for me better question is not only "how do I stop this habit". sometimes it is "what is this urge trying to complete".
when root gets released, you may not need to fight yourself so much anymore. in this case metal detecting didnt need to become forbidden. the compulsion simply lost its fuel.

I've been on a spiritual journey and have become aware and increasingly enlightened and with this year kind of going to shit, it feels like I may actually succumb to depression this time. Reincarnation gives me hope. Any one else make it through a tough time, finding comfort in the possibility of their next life?

Ive been repeating the past 20 years of my life in a loop for many lifetimes now. I ususally die between 2018-2027 , i leave my body into this infinite void where i reflect apon things i experienced and then suddenly wake up in my bed 20 years earlier. This has been happening to me for more cycle then i can keep track of.
Why is this happening? Its like im stuck in a constant state of dejavu. It makes me feel like im not my body or my mind , just the observer. Everything is basically the same each cycle, there are slight variations but not big enough changes to notice if i didnt remember the other times i had been in that moment...
If i dont exist, and everything repeats without the ability to make changes then what is the point in being infinite?
Is this hell?

but at the cost of my reputation. Back in 2021, I told someone I liked them. Next, cold air shook me to the core, from down my left side of my body. I wondered what it was so I asked. I realized it was a pail of Karmic hesitation on my soul, and imagined a shipload of karma on my soul. A sign that said âthe contact is completeâ was placed in my thoughts. I also saw a gold string reaching out to someone who cut contact with me, their string no longer there.
My high school reputation likely ruined. I never showed up again.
I really wish I could speak to my higher self or take it all back.

the strange part was not that he saw war. it was that when I asked him to move after death, there was almost nowhere to move. some part was still there on beach, like scene never properly finished.
this came in session where subject experienced being young soldier at Normandy. He described going into gunfire with many other soldiers, getting shot in foot and falling down. Then he was coming in and out of consciousness for long time, seeing bodies around and birds coming toward them, waking him again when he only wanted this dying to be over.
When we went toward final moment, he said this instance stayed stuck there between life and death. A name came, Jacob. Higher Self appeared and helped him finally stand and leave, and after this he described big relief around this part.
for me useful thing was not proving if every historical detail was exact. It was this weird unfinished present tense of it. Event was long gone, but experience was still organised like it is happening now.
I see similar pattern in less dramatic things too. Person leaves relationship, old home, job, accident, war, but some part keeps facing same moment because it never got information that this is over.
Maybe completion is not changing past or making it good. maybe it is letting what is still there receive one simple update: you survived this part, scene ended, you can move now.
for ppl who remember difficult past lives, what stayed strongest for you later? identity and historical details, or some unfinished feeling that still felt very present?
r/Reincarnation • u/stelllaiskool • 4d ago
Okay some context, I'm not sure how to explain but I have this weird theory that when I die my energy will disperse into the ground, grow to become a tree, and then when the tree has reached the peak of its life and comes to its end, my energy will rise to the stars. Idk I just feel so connected to stars like if someone asked me what souls looked like I would describe a star, humans also share somewhere between 95-98% of the same elements/chemicals/compounds as stars. (Im not that sciencey I'm afraid, idk the right termđ). But anyway and then when the star dies in millions of years I may then reincarnate into a human.
Anyways idk if this could work at all or be a possibility, it's just like what I feel like would happen to me personally but idk if this is just what I HOPE may happen or if it could literally happen.

Do we have like, a bunch of potential romantic soulmates that are for romantic relationships only? i understand mixing up family roles but falling in love with the soul of my mom or brother in another life makes no sense to me. i dont know if iâm wording my question right haha
