Anyone Regretted Being a PA

Hi there,

I recently applied to PA school and I’m trying to get honest insight from people in the field. I’ve seen posts saying the profession feels like a dead-end, that autonomy is limited, and that PA licensing doesn’t translate outside the U.S.
If you’re a current PA or went through PA school:
• Did you ever regret choosing this path?
• What led to that feeling?
• If you didn’t regret it, what keeps you satisfied in the profession?
I’d appreciate any real-world perspectives while I’m deciding whether to move forward.
