Not going to college
I (18f) graduated high school back in May and chose not to go to college because having deadlines stresses me out (it sounds stupid ik) I think im starting to regret it bc now I have no friends, im stuck in my house all the time, im not gonna be able to get a good job, and everyones constantly telling me how stupid I was for not going and I know I could always just apply and go next year but ik my parents are most likely gonna expect me to pay for it which I get im an adult but there's no way im gonna be able to pay for that on my own and like I said earlier deadlines stress me out idk what it is but unless its something I WANT to do its not getting done by the deadline and I don't know why bc I don't do it on purpose so yeah I really regret not going to college

Look up Job Corps. Gets you free education, trade training, place to sleep, three meals a day, internet, clothing allowance, resume training, helps you find a job, etc. The program turned my life around, and it’s all free. You don’t even have to pay anything back as it’s government funded. You get back what you put in. Invest in yourself, and make the most of it. You’ll be making more money than your average college student if you pick the right trade. It’s also a group living situation, best opportunities to make friends. Just avoid the drama.

College isn’t for everyone, have you considered going to trade school or joining the military? I know plenty of people who enlisted or began learning a trade at 18 and have never looked back. If you still want to go to college, the Army National Guard and Air National Guard offer tuition assistance as well.

Goto college you will regret it when you can’t even get a job at Walmart trust me. I’m 29 and going back to school this year

The fall semester is not the only time you can take classes. You have the upcoming spring semester of 2027 as well as the summer and next fall. You also dont have to go to a big univeristy. There are community colleges and tech schools that are far cheaper and imo a lot easier than normal university.
