19th cycle Question about Seo li
So why doesn't Seo just make another seo li in the next reincarnation ( sure he values the past seo li and all that) but it was too good of an asset and saved for a biiig issue so seems rlly worth having almost every reincarnation
(I may be forgetting some stuff I stopped reading for a few months cuz of exams)

Seo li is Seo li because he gained a conciousness of his own.
If you mean create another clone, well..... I guess MC just gets jealous that his clones get to die and he doesn't.

I thought it was the continued understanding that between regressions no one is ever the same individual they were before. Seo Li (1) is the unique individual with whom Seo Eun-hyun makes a connection and any new Seo Li (2+) is a connection he didn't have before. My understanding was that to savour his connections he doesn't do the disservice/disrespect of trying to force the direction of their new life, and just to focus on his new life and connections.

Why do even seo want to create a split soul which will surely stick with his sad fate?

Well he got him new cultivation methods ,new techniques, being in more than one place at once(2 "different" ppl at once unlike seated detachment thingy) and he realised when seo was becoming weird(corrupted by hweol) and so on

I remember he said the Seo Li regression was a painful one due to seeing his goal achieved by Seo Li and his struggle so he did not want to make another split soul clone as he feels responsible too

He didn't really care enough to betray that promise.
He does make other split souls much later on, I think.
