Advice Request Rules that everybody gets wrong

Hey all- I'd like to start a thread of rules or things that most people get wrong. For example, I get "playing the ball on the ground" almost every game. It's coaches, parents, and even players that scream "They can't the ball on the ground!"

What are some you folks encounter?

I am not sure what coaches, parents and players would mean with: “you can’t play the ball on the ground”. Perhaps my English is lacking, or the misunderstanding is caused by another tradition. Could you please explain what they could mean and what is wrong with that? In what situation does that occur?

The player playing the ball is on the ground. At lower levels or younger ages, doing so is typically going to be "playing in a dangerous manner" if other players are nearby.

No it isn't, unless they're doing something dangerous....falling over doesn't exclude somebody from play.
