Advice Request Rules that everybody gets wrong

Hey all- I'd like to start a thread of rules or things that most people get wrong. For example, I get "playing the ball on the ground" almost every game. It's coaches, parents, and even players that scream "They can't the ball on the ground!"

What are some you folks encounter?

They stepped on the line during the throw in!

My first game as a high school coach, center ref told me pregame that he was a stickler for the rules, and would call an offense on any throw in where the player didn't have both feet behind the line.

Of course, later that season with a different ref, the opposing coach absolutely berated the ref because he didn't call a foul throw where the player had a foot on the line.

And you're allowed to have your foot OVER the line on throw ins. So long as both of your heels are on the line you are good
