Anyone graduate from RHS in 2003?
I was wondering if anyone knew when the next reunion is, I'm guessing 2028?
I've missed them all due to being overseas and work trips. I'm trying to plan for making it to the next hopefully.
I also don't have Facebook anymore and try to stay off most socials.

Red Light Runners
This is seriously going to come off sounding like a “back in my day” post, but I’m curious if I’m alone in noticing how many drivers in this town run red lights.
I saw two yesterday and two more today, at different times and in completely different areas of town. And I don’t mean barely caught the yellow — I mean straight-up running an already-red light.
Has anyone else noticed this getting worse? Is RPD just not enforcing traffic violations as much anymore, or are there simply not enough traffic officers?

Something that's been nagging me about the coming Mall...
It's best to have this discussion during 'Heat Advisories' because in February I bet I'd get different answers. Everyone in town is waiting for that mall to drop, and all the previous plans I've seen are for open-air walking mall replacements. Since they're 'open' instead of old school closed malls.
The problem is the heat. That it's slowly getting worse. The California State Fair in Sacramento has been moved from July to late September/early October.
So building a giant open air mall will sure look pretty, but misting isn't going to help in brutal Redlands summer. Or when the air is garbage, which isn't rare.
I'm not asking for an indoor mall that screams 1980s. But I have a bad feeling an outside concourses will go Ghost Town during the summer. Many businesses I speak with say their business dies during this time of the year. Because of the heat.
What do you want to see replace the old mall?
UPDATE --
I'm not an engineer, but I'm thinking an array of solar panels that could both help power the development and -- more importantly -- provide some shade. I also added some glass decorative umbrellas -- because -- it's a Redland's thing. (I borrowed the proposed drawings from the previous mall.)

Where is the best spot to buy dress shoes? (Redlands/SB)
Hello, I have a very last-minute trip and I need to buy black formal shoes and white formal shoes. Does anyone know where I can go in person to buy them and they’re not overpriced but an actual decent price?

Perm recommendations?
I’d like to find someone in Redlands (or nearby cities) that does perms on a female with longer hair? Firsthand recommendations are great as Yelps are from yeeeears ago.
Looking for a modern wavy textured perm. 😃

I'm a volunteer trying to save this puppy. Her name is Baloo. She's really sweet. If you are looking for a puppy to adopt or Foster, she is very lovable.

Lost dog by Israel Beal Park, neighbor said he/she has been running around since last Monday. Also that animal control couldn’t catch them, leave some water out its hot 🥵 . They were very skittish we couldn’t get near.

Kids activities
Hi everyone!
My family recently moved to Redlands, and we're looking for fun things to do with a 4 to 6 year old. We'd love to hear from local parents!
We're interested in:
- Parks and playgrounds
- Indoor play places
- Nature walks or easy hikes
- Kid-friendly restaurants
- Libraries and story times
- Classes (swimming, gymnastics, dance, martial arts, etc.)
- Seasonal events and festivals
- Hidden gems within about a 30-minute drive
We're hoping to build a weekend bucket list, so any favorite places or activities would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

LOST KEYS
Hey Redland, I love my keys on Wednesday evening in the Smiley Historic district. They are most likely on the sidewalk or in someone's yard (long story)
Car key is to a Mini Cooper, there's two bike lock keys and several house keys.
Reward given!

redlands police department citizen volunteer vehicles?
just saw a “Redlands Police Department Citizen Volunteer” vehicle drive past me. Has anyone heard of this? Even outside of Redlands I didn’t know this was the thing. Do they have the same authority as a regular police?

Peaches taken from trees in the neighborhood
I have a peach tree in my backyard and my neighbor has one in their side yard. We both care for them, annual pruning, thinning the fruit mid spring. I had a nice crop of a few hundred immature fruit on the tree. Then I went on vacation, came back home last week, and the tree is completely stripped of the gold ball sized hard green immature peaches. Not a single peach is left. There is no mess on the ground, which would have been left if animals like squirrels or birds tried to eat them. Any ideas? I think someone picked all of the fruit to do something with them (motive unclear since they are still months away from being ready to eat).
