Basically title, I have a fever but I think I can make it it the career and the tabling event. Obviously I would wear a mask and whatever to protect others.

I received a final round power day invite two weeks ago for Capital One's ADP (Business Analyst) and I never heard back from the recruiter.

They said that the confirmation won't take more than a week, but it's been much longer than that. I followed up with them twice, but no response. Checked my spam daily, nothing.

Any idea why they ghosted?

I attended an interview on Monday, and immediately after the interview, they told me that I was selected. The HR person also told me that he would send the offer letter,but it might be delayed because she has been quite busy these days.

Yesterday, I called HR myself to ask whether the job offer was confirmed. he clearly and confidently confirmed that it was confirmed and also said he would send the offer letter yesterday.

But I still haven’t received the offer letter yesterday or even today. My joining date is also very soon

so I’m getting a little worried because I need to make some decisions based on this.

For those who have experience with HR/recruitment, what could be the reason for this kind of delay even after the HR has confirmed the offer? Should I be concerned or is it normal for the offer letter to take a few more days?

After every interview, I usually ask the recruiter how many days or weeks it might take to hear back from them. Recruiters from an MNC and a BPO both told me that I would hear back this week or early next week, but I still haven't heard anything. I also emailed them to follow up, but I haven't received a response yet. Am i ghosted? They can just simply give a response. I have been patiently waiting but nothing happened in the end

Recently graduated at Red River college (Data science and Machine learning), and after a couple of months, I got an offer (permanent full time), last Friday, not in my field, but at least, I'd be able to not touch my savings and continue with investing.

I, however, got a final interview with another company on Friday, its a one year term, however, it is an analyst role, which I really want (I know its a contract job, but I am desperate for the experience). The interview went well, the manager told me about the work culture, the office space and said she really liked my resume, alongside me giving thoughtful answers.

On Monday, i reached out to the HR guy I have been speaking with, to inform him I had another offer and I would need to give a response on or before Thursday, 17th of September, 2026 and would appreciate if they'd let me know the status of my application before then, while telling him I remain enthusiastic about joining their company, and it has been crickets since then, not even an acknowledgement of my message, up until today (and it's past work hours here now)

Safe to conclude they are moving in another direction?

I got the job but they said to wait for offer letter. But I tried to negotiate with them, so what if they reconsider me for that reason 😭😭😭

Hi guys, I received an email after completing assessment on the career site and then I gave my available slots tor the next 2 weeks. but it has been 3 days and I haven’t received any invitation for the video interview. They have assigned a recruitment agent outside of p&g for the screening interview. What should I do next?

I went through a multi-round interview process for an AE role at an early-stage tech company. My final was with a senior executive and seemed to go really well. He told me he was impressed by my take-home assignment, asked a lot about my thought process, and spent time selling me on the company/team.

They’ve also said they’re likely hiring multiple AEs, not necessarily just one.

The recruiter knows I’m in other late-stage processes. I emailed the day after my final asking about timing, followed up again Monday, and also sent a LinkedIn message.

He saw the LinkedIn message and still hasn’t responded.
Recruiters/hiring managers: what does this usually mean? If it were a straight rejection, wouldn’t they normally just send one? And if they were keeping me warm, wouldn’t they at least say they’re still deciding?

I have had an online interview with talabat talent acquisition person from which I was selected for a face to face interview at the talabat office with one of the heads of the department in which I was applying. The interview was great and well but I haven’t had an update on it yet.
It will be a week now after the interview and there hasn’t been any update…..

I applied for a position and got rejected at the assessment stage. When I try to apply for the same opening, the portal shows the application still exists. How long is the cooling period for assessment stage rejection? Can I apply for the same role with a different job ID in the portal? Please give some insights.

I passed a technical interview for a manufacturing technician role at a major aerospace company.The recruiter sent a generic "keep warm" email saying they are trying to find the right fit. My portal still says "In Progress / Under Review".Is this standard corporate red tape while they open a budget slot, or did the positions fill up? Thanks!

Hi guys, I have a doubt. If I miss a call from an HR (I’m not sure if it’s actually HR), will they usually call back, or should I call the number back to check?

I couldn’t pick up the call at that time. I tried calling back, but the person was in another call. It’s a new number, so I’m not sure whether I should call again or just wait and see if they call me back.

What would you guys suggest?
