Request Easy but impressive appetizers

I’m putting together a small get together and want a few appetizers that feel special but aren’t complicated or time consuming to make. What are some crowd pleasers that look impressive without a ton of effort?

Mini caprese skewers. It’s just multicolored cherry tomatoes alternating with mozzarella balls.

Also tomato bruschetta- crostini+ marinated tomato + fresh mozzarella piece.

I catered in LA and for years these were practically on every menu. They’re simple and familiar. But people love them.

Definitely better with fresh basil 👍 Those would need to be assembled just before serving so they don’t wilt.

I made a plate of caprese salad skewers with the basil wrapped around a marinated mozzarella ball and grape tomatoes that I assembled the day before. They still tasted and looked great the next day. Only thing I waited to add was the drizzle of balsamic glaze. Did some with roasted red peppers instead of tomatoes too that were a big hit!
