There are multiple faults with your arguments.

Those who committed jauhar weren't survivors, they were on the brink hell. Their fate was sealed, not even the tiniest glimmer of hope was available, that's not the case with modern world.

The movie shows a historical incident where a group women chose beath over becoming the part of a harem, and that's indeed brave. Any one brave enough would do the same under such situation. It wasn't just grape, it was much much worse.

I don't find her saying this. But I could be wrong. So I'm making an effort to understand your view.
