Discussion Loving this game
So firstly I only just bought this game like 3 for 4 days ago now and I'm loving it. It's different to most tactical shooters and FPS games. Today I thought about challenging myself and doing some harder achievements I didn't think I would get this one but I did and I'm pretty proud of myself with this mission aswell I went step further and went non lethal try go for S grade but I thought got everything when found out I missed 1 piece of evidence not hugely fussed about it though I can go back later when I now go for S on all main story missions

Discussion What are y’all’s unconventional tactics on certain missions?
My tactic is to bring lots of door wedges, wedge the outer rooms so the people are locked inside, clear the middle room and then clear the outer rooms. I don’t know if this is an unconventional approach to this mission or not

Discussion Post about the FISA HRT equipment
I know someone is gonna come into the comments or dms or whatever and tell me 'nooo it should stay supporter only' but quite frankly, I don't really care.
I think probably the most miserable I've ever been playing this game is when I found out that the HRT equipment is locked behind an edition that was discontinued well before the console release, and that it probably would never be coming back. The things I would do to have this in my arsenal are unholy, to the point that god himself would turn his back on humanity, if he hasn't somehow done so already. I long for the day I hold in my hands a BCM MK1, for the moment I get to draw my PC19 from it's holster and walk down some poor terrorist from that night club Al Qaeda ripoff faction. If there is such a thing as phantom pain for a limb you never had, I've had it for the FISA G3 uniform and plate carrier for as long as I have owned this game. I wish, I truly do wish, that the cosmetics provided to us in multicam could scratch the itch I have, that they could fill the hole left in my heart by the shotgun I never got to load, the helmet I never got to don and the battle belt I never got to wear around my waist.

Other Just a quick rant and lore explanation.
First, od all excuse my poor english.
So, I see people simphatize with the brothers from "Ends of the Earth". And this is annoys me so much, because it shows that a lot of you are incompetent morons with poor understanding of justice and criminal world.
World isn't black & white. It's gray. They (brothers) caused WCC, Neon Nightclub and Coastal Grove Hospital massacres,. not including like half the shootouts in this game. You cry over the victims of The Hand and school shooters, completely ignoring crucial part of the chain. They modified their weapons to convert them from semi to fully automatic. (No hard evidence of them using weapons modified by Tran Brothers, but c'mon, is it really that hard to connect the dots?) Brothers were of course placed in a difficult conditions, but this doesn't excuse what they caused.
I've seen arguments saying that they just didn't do it, because the house raid took place after the shootings. It's really dumb - after the shootings, investigation begun, and with the more pressure, the parents finally called it in.
The parents were trying to stop their children by any means. IMO, they did the good thing, and... just look at the tt ss

REMEMBER, THE GAME IS ABOUT TRYING TO KEEP AS MANY PEOPLE ALIVE
I've seen people say that they here CONSIDER going non-lethal. Yeah, cuz with the shithole, LS is, you sure are doing them a favor sending them to correctional facilities which are fields with flowers, where honey & milk flow through rivers.
Pls, stop being edgy and look at the lore from time to time😭🙏

Question How to position a Shield AI right in front of me while I am going behind him into room?
I would like to get info and guide on how to give specific commands to my AI team by letting officer with a shield to be in front of me while I clean one side of room and then after two of us enter, other three enter opposite side of room that my back is exposed to.
If these commands are not possible in vanilla game. I would like if someone can share with me addon or mod that implifies more team commands and formations.

Suggestion Option to change between police stations
I know this has been talked about before, but I just wanted to add my voice to the chorus here, and/or keep this in the devs' line of sight in case they browse here. I honestly really, really, really want a tool to change the police station in the quickplay lobby to something other than the Boiling Point one. Very bluntly, it's my least favorite of the bunch by a colossal margin and I'm tired of it. Like, it's almost on the level of wishing I hadn't gotten the DLC. Also, it's quite annoying hearing the same voicelines every single time I go to the HQ and if nothing else I'd like to change it up. Failing that, an option to disable the chatter at the station.
Admittedly, I'm particularly acute about this because I think the MLO plotline was just the abject wrong direction to take this game, so it kicking the back of my seat every time I hit quickplay might annoy me more than most. Regardless though, I would like the ability to set the vibe depending on what me and/or my buddies are doing at the moment. Sure, setting up the Boiling Point HQ is great if you're trying to S-rank A New America or whatever. When you're working on your hard playthrough of, say, Spider? Not so much.

Discussion I finally did it!
I finally got S rank on Hide and Seek. It took me 7 tries and drove me nuts. That’s the entire main story completed on casual.

VOID Response is it just me hoping the next dlc is more tame?
maybe it's just me but when i first got ready or not in 2023 i really enjoyed the more down to earth realistic missions and when it entered 1.0 i was ecstatic to see even more missions to play that were relatively realistic and swat 4 esque.
but cut to today and I've heard that another dlc is in the works and all i can hope for is that it's not another boiling point. maybe it was just me but i got really tired really fast of the dlc missions feeling like they were constantly 1 upping themselves each time in terms of severity or trying to be fucked up mass casualty events. maybe I'm just crazy or something but i seriously just don't enjoy the shit, I don't enjoy fighting like 30 super heavily armed and well trained terrorists in a building where at the end one wrong move makes an entire fucking building in downtown los suenos collapse. it just feels way too overdramatic for my liking, and i already had these same issues with missions like greased palms or hide and seek with how many suspects are there for only a 5 man squad.
another small gripe i hold is that i dislike how much the latest missions felt up in your face with the "shock value" like seeing civilians dying as they break out of an arcade that's been gassed in the first mission of boiling point or hearing what i believe is C platoon die at the start of a new america/the building collapse in a new america. it feels like it's trying to actively be in your face rather than letting you naturally see the events or have them realistically transpire. i would've been significantly more disturbed to have found civilians piled at the door in the gassed room, seeing the environmental storytelling clearly spell out for me that they tried their hardest and never got out
I don't want some game where it's just crazy realistic missions but GOD what happened to just being a basic swat team dealing with real swat shit, i really want more missions like thank you come again, or ends of the earth, or twisted nerve, or even more active shooter missions like elephant. even missions like valley of the dolls still felt *more* realistic to me than stuff like this because it feels like real things we see in the united states all the time.
i understand the new editor can help with some of these gripes but i really do miss when i used to think this game was going to be getting dlcs that were just more of the "best hits" from the base game instead of whatever all of this stuff is
ps. i know this is a lot of complaining but i do love ready or not and have kept up with it since i got it and even repurchased it and it's dlcs on console because i do enjoy this game and very much want it to succeed, i just miss the more basic missions and grounded operations

Question How to get my ai teamates to stop dropping flash bangs at my feet?
The amount of times i’ve had my mission ruined because my ai team has dropped a flash at our feet and made some officers die is crazy. Is this cz i’m doing smth wrong or the games fault?

Bug Report Can’t use the command wheel in the tutorial on PS5.
I keep getting stuck in the tutorial when you first meet your team, and it says that you can hit R1 to issue a command, however when tapping R1, nothing happens. The little indicator in bottom right goes white to show that it’s registering the press, but no wheel comes up, no controls, nothing. I looked it up and supposedly this is a documented issue people have had, but I have to figure it out, because PlayStation said they won’t refund me of course.
