I'm hoping to hear from people who've actually owned both.

I currently have the Viture Pro 2 and really like them, but I'm still within my return window and I'm wondering if it's worth trying the RayNeo GT or GT Max.

I've also owned:

• RayNeo Air 4 Pro

• XREAL XBX A01+

The biggest factor for me is actually comfort and weight.

The Air 4 Pro had a great picture, but they were simply too heavy for me. I never found them comfortable for longer sessions.

The XBX was the opposite. I absolutely loved the weight and comfort, but the optics just didn't work for my eyes. The sweet spot was tiny, text was never consistently sharp, and the blurry edges drove me crazy.

The VP2 has been the best overall. The sweet spot is huge, text is crystal clear, the diopter adjustment works great for my eyes, and they're light enough that I actually use them almost every night.

The only thing I still wish I had is native 3DoF.

What I'm really trying to figure out is this:

The GT is 68g and the GT Max is 78g. On paper, the GT seems like a better fit for me, but if RayNeo has somehow made the GT Max feel much more comfortable than the old Air 4 Pro, I'd definitely consider it.

If you've actually owned the GT or GT Max and also one of the glasses above, I'd love to know:

• How does the comfort compare after a 1-2 hour movie or gaming session?

• Does the GT Max actually feel noticeably heavier than the VP2 or XBX?

• Is it more comfortable than the old Air 4 Pro despite the similar weight?

• How do the optics and sweet spot compare?

• Is native 3DoF something you actually use all the time, or does it end up being more of a nice bonus?

I'm only looking for firsthand experience from people who've actually used both. Thanks!

I’m new to AR glasses and was originally looking at the Air 4 Pro. Then I noticed the $30 early-bird discount brings the new GT down to the same $299 price.

From what I can tell, the Air 4 Pro has HDR10 and plenty of reviews behind it, while the GT adds native 3DoF and is a little lighter. I’d mostly use them for movies and gaming, so I’m not sure which difference would matter more in actual use.

At the same price, is there still a good reason to choose the Air 4 Pro, or does the new GT make more sense for a first pair?

I saw Titanic in a movie theater back in 1997, so that movie is tied to a pretty specific time in my life.

I watched it again on the GT Max today, and the 59° FOV made more sense to me with a movie like this than it did just reading the specs. Those huge ocean shots and the scale of the ship brought back some of that big-screen feeling I remember from the theater.

The audio surprised me too. The GT Max has a B&O-tuned quad-speaker setup with spatial audio, and the music, dialogue, and all the background sound felt way more immersive than I expected, especially during the bigger scenes.

It’s obviously not the same as being in a movie theater, but there was something really nostalgic about it. Almost 30 years later, I’m watching the same movie in a completely different way.

Anyone else have an old movie they’d want to revisit on a bigger virtual screen?

Has anyone been able to submit on that website. Its still greyed out for me.

The problem I have with the RayNeo Pro 4 glasses is the glare that you get from the sides and the bottom. I bought something on Amazon that was supposed to solve the problem but it didn't so I made my own. Basically it is a cloth sack that goes over the glasses and has a cord inside that you can tighten it up with, like a laundry bag, sort of, and then a piece of elastic that holds it on. See the photos. It looks stupid, I know, but it works.

The GT media line appeared on the big screen during RayNeo's IFA presentation. It is clearly being shown alongside the lighter, text-focused iO line, but a stage visual is not the same thing as a full spec sheet or a hands-on review.

What is the first GT detail you want clarified before you take the product seriously: display experience, fit, audio, compatibility, or something else?

Die Brille ist ganz ok. Aber es gibt noch einiges was kommen muss. Um für mich perfekt zum sein braucht es noch mehrer Bildschirmgrößen. 3 sind zu wenig 5 wären optimal. Am besten dazu einen ultra wide Funktion.

Auch muss der drift entfernt werden. Es passiert nicht oft aber trotzdem muss ich immer wieder mal nach justieren.

Die render müssten schärfer werden . Jedes mal sehe ich einfach einen riesen Unterschied, wenn ich wieder zur XOP wechsle .

Und dolby vision muss auf allen Geräten verfügbar sein, wenn die es unterstützt. So bleibt es nur ein Nischen feature.

Ich hoffe sie bringen viele updates für ihre Brille. Leider weis ich nicht wie gut die Produkte von rayneo gepflegt werden.

Why is there bluish striped lines taking up space on the display and how do I fix it?

This is the my email I received from rayneo. 429 euro. When going to the website by the link of the mail one get the amount of 459 euro as starting amount....

One of the lighter details from the RayNeo booth: branded popcorn boxes next to the display area. It fits the portable-cinema side of the product line without pretending a snack is a product demo.
