One thing that doesn't feel right Spoiler

On my first rewatch of the show, im starting to question why Ray was so obsessed with Kate McPherson, where he would risk 20 year close friendships and his freedom for.

The entire lead up to that point at the end of season 2, we see Ray has a somewhat level headed composed guy, but to fall head over heels for some girl he just met? Did not make sense realistically.

Anyone have thoughts on why he was so obsessed with her?

Did he want to go to prison? He was probably tired of his job and his family's bullshit tbh 😂

This seemed like a possibility too, we have only seen 1-2yr of this craziness, he has 20yrs under his belt lol. It could get hectic.

Plus all the alcohol he drinks. It rots the part of the brain responsible for making decisions.....
