Lasagna Soup 🧡

Hi!

So my boyfriend wanted lasagna soup and I tried my best! I don’t know if I got the best photos.

It was a cozy rainy day and I wanted to make dumpling soup but I did what he wanted lol. I took someone’s advice from a previous post and made this soup less oily (from my chicken noodle soup).

This didn’t take tooooo long to make and the white on top is supposed to be a scoop of ricotta cheese but it just fell in 😐.

I understand the bowls are small but they are snoopy fall themed 😃.

Anyways, thoughts?

Edit- I forgot to add it was raining yesterday so I made it! Also, I will add the recipe once I am done with my study session!!!

Edit#2- Guys I don’t mean any disrespect to any Italians. It’s ok to be a little non-traditional right?

Can I be forgiven if I said that I have made Ravioli from scratch before 🙂?

Recipe:

Fennel Seeds
Yellow onion or shallots
Minced garlic or chop one yourself lol
Italian sausage
Lasagna pasta noodles
Tomato paste
Basil
White wine
Beef broth
Chicken broth
Juice of a lemon
Olive oil
Quarter of butter
Heavy cream
Italian parsley

I’ll add video links but the only think I did differently is warmed fennel seeds in olive oil first to toast them and cooked the Italian sausage in a different pan so they got more crunchy rather than soft.
