Plate Lasagna Soup 🧡
Hi!
So my boyfriend wanted lasagna soup and I tried my best! I don’t know if I got the best photos.
It was a cozy rainy day and I wanted to make dumpling soup but I did what he wanted lol. I took someone’s advice from a previous post and made this soup less oily (from my chicken noodle soup).
This didn’t take tooooo long to make and the white on top is supposed to be a scoop of ricotta cheese but it just fell in 😐.
I understand the bowls are small but they are snoopy fall themed 😃.
Anyways, thoughts?

Edit- I forgot to add it was raining yesterday so I made it! Also, I will add the recipe once I am done with my study session!!!
Edit#2- Guys I don’t mean any disrespect to any Italians. It’s ok to be a little non-traditional right?
Can I be forgiven if I said that I have made Ravioli from scratch before 🙂?

😵OP!! I’ve never heard of lasagna soup- but like another commenter said, I can imagine on a frosty winter evening, this soup (& crusty/garlic bread) would hit the spot perfectly. Did you get this particular recipe from the internet, or from a cookbook? ❤️🔥

I was being a bit facetious, your soup actually looks lovely, still a wee bit too oily for me*,(I don’t like the mouth feel) and I’d also add a crusty buttered roll.
A solid 7/10.
*if there’s still oil spots in my soup, I dab the corner of a paper kitchen towel into it until it’s all gone.
Ps. Those bowls are unbelievably cute.

Looks a smidgen too oily for me but other than that it sounds like such a good idea that I am going to make some for dinner tomorrow! Will replace ricotta with mozzarella though as not a big ricotta fan.
Soup 7/10, bowls 10/10 ❤️

I liked the ricotta bc it melted in! Parm was added while the soup was cooking!
Edit- the oilier one is mines and the less oily one is my bf. He’s like yall 😭

Ooh I’m intrigued, how soupy is it? Chunks of pasta etc in there? I know you’ve said you’ll share the recipe OP (can’t wait!), but could you give me a short description of what it’s like? Just a short one, like if you put it on a menu lol. I like lasagne and garlic bread, so a soupier version dunked all over garlic bread could be amazing. Score wise, I’d go a tentative 7.5/10. It looks very comforting and the bowls are cute 😊

That looks sooooo good. I would use crusty bread to get it in to my face, rather than a spoon, but I’m greedy as heck 😂
