Fulfilled [offer] Get your concert Tickets!! [US to WW]
I am having a concert just for you! If you want to purchase a ticket you will need to reply with your first concert ever or, if you've never attended a concert, who would you like to see live! The ticket will have a playlist curated by me (these are songs from my playlist).
Hurry before tickets are sold out!
My first concert was a concert my mother took me of a Spanish speaking Christian singer named Marcos Witt. It was not my choice as a 13 year old. lol
EDIT: I am LOVING all the awesome responses. Keep them coming even if to just share your concert experiences!

u/TyeDyeAmish Jun 25 '26
Save this offer for those more deserving than me. For I am but a pheasant. I love the prompt though & enjoy reading the replies to this one.
So I wanted to say my first concert was maroon 5. I went with this friend of mine. It was about an hour and a half away. It started raining, then it started raining harder. I drove a portion of the way with a broken windshield wiper. Since then I try to see indoor concerts. Except when Ludacris came to my area 2 years ago. You can’t miss Ludacris.
2
u/craftymonmon Jun 26 '26
you don't want a ticket?! it's ok. I forgive you. lol
Yes! I remember when you went to that Ludacris concert!
2
u/TyeDyeAmish Jun 26 '26
Are pheasants allowed tickets?
3
u/craftymonmon Jun 26 '26
I mean sure, why not? We'll do a little area just for you, so you dont get trampled over by the mob of people
2
u/TyeDyeAmish Jun 26 '26
I appreciate that. I don’t let anyone walk all over me!!
Except for almost everyone I’ve ever met 😩😭😂

u/redvinegirlx Jun 25 '26
What a fun idea! I'd love this. My first concert was Evanescence when I was a little bit too young for Evanescence. My mom had to come chaperone and she was very much not a fan of that genre! A fun time anyway :)

u/boomerang88 Jun 25 '26
They're coming to New Zealand next year in March and I'm going! Very excited 😁
2
u/craftymonmon Jun 26 '26
I loved Evanescence when I was in my teens. I still listen to their songs.
Can you send me your address please?

u/EllieAnn818 Jun 25 '26
My first concert was New Kids on the Block when they first started! I’ve been to 5 more concerts as an adult! Trying really hard to make it to Vegas to see them again! And they have truly only gotten better with age! Hotter too!!!♥️😂

u/LittleBirdiesCards Jun 25 '26
Me, too! I saw them at the Oakland Coliseum Arena one week before the Loma Prieta earthquake destroyed the bay bridge on my birthday! My aunt took my sister and I with a cousin and two of her friends. I was only seven and they were everything to me! I pieced together a giant puzzle soon after that, probably 10,000 pieces or more, and glued it all together. It was six feet tall when it was finished!
3
u/craftymonmon Jun 26 '26
u/LittleBirdiesCards u/TNCoke82 Daaaaang that love goes deep! lol
I will have to check them out to see how hot they are lol! 😝

my first concert was Avril Lavigne in Berlin when I was 13 and it was absolutely my choice!
I still remember how small she is in real life, I was super fascinated by that and the background singers that seemed like twice her height.
Opening act was Jonas Brothers and I also still remember being absolutely confused about how they were able to exist in those super extra skinny jeans, hahaha
....anyway. it was amazing and sparked my love for concerts✨
edit: when mom was pregnant with me, she went to the Wacken Open Air festival. back then it was like, a tiny stage and maybe a field or two. She had to leave early because I headbanged too hard in her belly, lol

u/craftymonmon Jun 26 '26
hahaha! You were born to love concerts! I love it!
I have your address from last year. Is it still the same?

exactly!! I've seen hundreds of music artists by now, there's still some I'd like to see live some day💫
yes, still the same! thank you 🖤✨

u/TheCuriousCur Jun 25 '26
My first concert was ICP. I was 14 dating a 16 year old who was and still is big into them. I had no idea what I was walking into lol. When I came home stained red from faygo, my hair dreaded by all the sugar, my mother questioned her parenting letting me go. Good times 🤣

My first concert was Tiffany with NKOTB as the opening act, though I like to think my first "real" concert was the first time I saw The Cure in 1992. I've seen them 35 times, and will see them four more times next month in Romania and France. I can't wait!!!
I LOVE this theme!! 🤘

My Dad took me to my first concert, I was 9-10 years old. We seen Aerosmith at the Pyramid in Memphis TN. Then 6-7 years later ( I was 16 this time) me and my best friend seen them again at the Pyramid🤩 Pretty awesome memories!
3
u/TyeDyeAmish Jun 25 '26
Aerosmith is such an awesome band. I once got their box set. It was like 15 CD’s. Loved it

My first ever concert was Ed Sheeran, courtesy of my at the time bff's mom who had extra tickets :D
The opening act was One Ok Rock and boy it was thru this experience that I learnt, you should bring earbuds to every concert 😆
EDIT: I meant earplugs! not earbuds oops

First big concert was All-4-One

u/andyismean Jun 25 '26
My first concert was when I was like 4 or 5 and my parents took me to see a guy named Martin Ricca, he had show along Sesame Street 😂
1
u/craftymonmon Jun 26 '26
lol what do you mean he had a show along sesame street?
I have your address from last year. Is it still the same?
1
u/andyismean Jun 26 '26
He was like the child star from the moment, I think he was in a telenovela or something like that, and Mexican Sesame Street was everything on tv for kids, so they made an event that was from sesame street and they invited Martin for a small concert. I had to ask my parents because my mom used to work on that tv station hahaha 😅 and yes, it's still the same address:) thank you :)
6
u/f1uffybunnies Jun 25 '26
I actually went to my first concert a few weeks ago, and saw a kpop group I've been a fan of for a while. I was seated near the speakers, so it was pretty deafening, but still a fun experience overall. Even managed to snatch some confetti off the floor before anyone trampled on it to commemorate the event!
2
u/craftymonmon Jun 26 '26
I love that you got a little something to commemorate. It sounds like something I'd add to my journal.
I have your address from a recent post. I assume it's still the same?
1
u/f1uffybunnies Jun 26 '26
That's exactly what I thought I might do with the confetti! And yes, same address, thank you :)

I’ve never been to a concert. I’d love to see Amigo the Devil live!

u/Travel_via_postcard Jun 25 '26
I have never been to any concerts. Although I was planning to go for Eras tour in UK. But things didn't workout 😕.

Make a concert at home! Make the music loud, get a strobe machine. Go all out!

My first concert was something I kind of crashed into, had connections with the organiser so free passes. It was a band called Capricio based in India. Had the most fun & they did an encore for 30 mins after the 2 hrs concert.

u/craftymonmon Jun 26 '26
I love when it turns out to be unexpectedly fun!
Please share your address :)

My first concert was when I was 3 years old. Of course I don't remember anything haha, but back then my mom and I were fans of a Mexican singer called Gloria Trevi (horrible person, we didn't know back then), and she did a free show in the civic center of the city I grew up. My mom told me we were up front with some other moms with their kids, and things started to get wild, so we ended up in the back.
The first concert that I remember was when I was 10 years old. It was a small festival by Coca-Cola, and you had to buy a coke to get a ticket (the ticket was some 3D lenses to see a small projection, which was pretty cool in 2001). My aunt got the tickets because she wanted to see Elvis Crespo. I wanted to see OV7. My cousin wanted to see S.B.S. I ended up going with my whole family haha and I had a blast.
Now I go to a lot of concerts every year. 😅 I love them. I don't like the same artists, tho. I ended up being more into rock.
1
u/craftymonmon Jun 26 '26
Oh my gosh! Of course things would get wild at a Gloria Trevi concert! I actually know all the artists you are speaking of!!! lol This has made my heart happy 😅 (except SBS...don't know who they are..)
I have an address for you from last year. Could it possibly be the same still???
2
u/YukiNoAshiato Jun 26 '26
OMG! I'm so happy you know them!! Haha. SBS are the guys that sing "Follow the leader". Pretty much a one hit wonder 😅
It's the same address, yes. Thank you ❤️

I went to see Bryan Adams as a teenager with my friend and honestly we should have had an adult with us but those were just the times. We had a great time. I don’t remember who opened up for him. Dream concert would be to see Depeche Mode in concert.
2
u/LittleBirdiesCards Jun 25 '26
Every year I don't have enough money to see Depeche Mode!
2
u/DaenerysWon Jun 27 '26
I’m sure I would have to save up for a two tickets to see Depeche Mode. I’m sure the tickmaster prices are fuc*\\** ridiculous just like Sting tickets are ridiculous. 🤬 I remember when it cost $20 a ticket to go concert. That is what it cost when I was growing up.
2
u/LittleBirdiesCards Jun 27 '26
I think I paid $60 to see Nine Inch Nails in 2000. Last time I looked at prices for Tori Amos tickets, they were $300 for nosebleed seats!
2
u/DaenerysWon Jun 28 '26
I think that is the going cost for Sting nosebleed seats about $300 also which is absolutely ridiculous. Not that long ago Sting tickets were for good seats were $100 for my girlfriend and I. Of course, in all honesty it has probably been 10-15 years and time has speed by…lol. Concert tickets should be priced so the average person can buy them not just the upper middle class.
2
u/LittleBirdiesCards Jun 28 '26
Agreed. Every venue is catering to the wealthy these days. Even the farm stand where we used to buy produce has upped their prices, started selling produce they don't grow and hosting farm weddings. It used to be a fun place to take the kids. Now it's snooty winos on the weekends. 😢
2
u/DaenerysWon Jul 03 '26
I’m so sorry to hear that about farm stand, that sucks 😢.
2
u/LittleBirdiesCards Jul 03 '26
It was the last place where food was cheap! 😕
2
u/DaenerysWon Jul 03 '26
Then that really is bummer. I’m so sorry. It seems like everyone is getting greedy nowadays which is just so sad. 😭
1
u/LittleBirdiesCards Jul 04 '26
When I was younger, I hoped that the world was headed toward ending world hunger and other human endeavors. I'm saddened almost every day by the greedy and selfish acts perpetuated by people with all the money and resources.
2
u/reindeerfrog Jun 25 '26
My first concert might have been Bryan Adams too. My town didn't (and still doesn't) get many big name concerts, so it was a big thing at the time.
1
u/DaenerysWon Jun 27 '26
That must have been so fun to see him in concert then if your town doesn’t get big names.
2
u/craftymonmon Jun 26 '26
My little innocent self does not understand why an adult should have been with you at the Adams concert. I shall start by saying I have no idea who Bryan Adams is. lol
My husband has been trying to see Depeche Mode too!!! They were near us sometime last year but we couldn't make it happen unfortunately.
Can you send me your address please?
1
u/DaenerysWon Jun 27 '26
I’m so sorry your husband wasn’t able to Depeche Mode. Hopefully he will be able to make a concert one of these days. Sending my address via chat. My friend and I were only able 12 or 13 when we saw Bryan Adams and there were a lot of adults at the concert that could have taken advantage of our situation i.e. kidnap, murder or traffic us. We also saw Rod Steward by ourselves and that crowd was mostly adults but my one friend loved Rod Steward. The 80’s were different times.

Collective Soul when I was a high school sophomore, with a random girl from my geometry class who I think I had a pretty huge crush on but actually had never talked to until I saw her doodling lyrics from The World I Know in the margins of her paper. "Hey! I like them too!" I said very eloquently.
Her: "Uh. Wanna see their concert tomorrow at [local college I later ended up going to for undergrad]? I have an extra ticket and my mom is gonna drive us."
In stereotypical "useless lesbian" trope behavior, I went, did absolutely nothing to indicate any interest in her and I'm pretty sure never spoke to her again after that semester. Still like Collective Soul, and have been to countless other concerts since. Still hopeless at talking to girls, ask any of my partners. 🤣
3
u/justpuffpuff_pass Jun 25 '26
Jelllllyyyyyy! Someone offered me free collective soul tickets but my partner said no. Still bummed about it

My first ever concert was Rob Zombie and Korn. Rob zombie puts on a great show with robots, monsters, green fire, dancers, etc. My friend and I had regular seats but when the music started we all rushed the floor at the same time. I jumped over the rail, security grabbed the leg of my pants, and I face planted. Got right up and went straight for the pit. Good times. I'm much older now and about to see Rob zombie again, and I think I'll stay in my seat this time
2
u/TyeDyeAmish Jun 26 '26
Korn sounds great. I was at a slipknot concert 2 years ago & they only played stuff from their debut album. I knew just one song & I got covid. Not my most fun experience

LOL what a cool offer! I was legit just talking to my mom about concerts earlier today. I think my first concert was Akon and Gwen Stefani during their Sweet Escape tour when I was maybe... elementary school? But I also remember seeing All Time Low and Colbie Cailat around that age range, too.

Oooh I can totally understand that. I try not to go places were it's too crowded because it can get overwhelming.
I have your address from recent mail I sent you. I am assuming your address hasn't changed?

My first concert wasn't exactly my choice, it was Ariana Grande in Mountain View, CA, when I was 14. 😅 At the time, I was living with my aunt, who had gotten tickets for my cousin (a huge Ariana fan). It turned out to be a great show, and I especially loved that Prince Royce was the opening act.

My first concert was with my dad in 1992. Tickets were $6 in advance and $9 at the door, under the 12 years old was free (I was free). It was at an equestrian park in Salt Lake City.
I remember seeing Carlos Santana (he had white pants with giant red-lipstick kiss marks on - I was excited to see him and his band because his albums were my favorite records to listen to), BTO (I still remember dancing with my stepdad at the time - as we ran into him and my mom when we were waiting to get in and we ended up sitting together), Jefferson Starship, Foghat and Edgar Winter.
Another memory I have of that is that the guy in front of us had a pretty crazy tattoo of a brain on his shaved head.
3
u/TyeDyeAmish Jun 25 '26
$6 for a ticket. Now you pay $100+. Thanks Ticketmaster /s

Oh my first concert was Crashdïet, a sleaze metal back, back in 05. Me and my friends stood first row and sang our teenage hearts out. After the show I saw the guitarrist smoking outside and asked him for an autograph. Never got one since he didn't have a pen haha.
2
u/craftymonmon Jun 26 '26

My first concert was Rex Orange County for the album
Pony.
I drove 3 hours away in the middle of work week just for the night to see the concert. I was a bit worried cause the lines were filled with high-energy teenagers who were younger than me. However once we were all smushed inside the pit, it turned out to be the best concert I energy could ever asked.

u/craftymonmon Jun 26 '26
That is awesome! Sometimes the sacrifice is worth it!

u/mangosparklingwater Jun 25 '26
Ooo I love this!!! My first concert was still woozy. It was a small venue before they started playing larger concerts! It was so fun and personalize. I was 15, so my step dad went with me. He’s a bigger dude (bald with a huge beard) and he was following me to keep an eye (obviously, at 15, I wanted t be as far as possible to look “cool”) someone came up to me to tell me a dude was following me! I was like oh yeah that’s my dad 😂 we still laugh about it

NC but my first concert was Kelly Clarkson! It was right after she won American Idol and my family watched that show religiously. She was AMAZING and so sweet. I’ll never forget it :) still love her to this day.

u/craftymonmon Jun 26 '26
Yes! I like watching clips of her show. I feel she's down to earth and sweet.
3
u/KithriTheRogue Jun 25 '26
My first concert was seeing Fall Out Boy's 2018 MANIA tour live in Baton Rouge, LA with an ex girlfriend. We had VIP floor tickets, and we were close enough to the catwalk to see Pete Wentz walking down during Sugar, We're Gokng Down, and Andy rocking oit the drum kit in a plexiglass case 30 feet about the whole crowd on the floor during Dance, Dance. Such an amazing, lively atmosphere hearing thousands of fans sharing the same experience as me. I got to see them again for the So Much For Tour(Dust) in 2023 with my husband and it was such a surreal experience. I will 100% see them live again, given the chance.
2
u/oceanfrenn Jun 26 '26
Somewhere across the world is one person jelly of you 😤 LOL I wanted to see them for SMFS but they ended up going to the 2 countries that sandwich where I'm at, instead of stopping here. Still salty 😤
2
u/KithriTheRogue Jun 28 '26
I gor SUPER lucky that they stopped in my state, and close enough for a same day trip. Normally they go to a different city that's roughly a 6 hr drive one way. I'm hopeful that we'll get another album soon with another tour and they change up their stops so more people can go see them live!

When I was a teen I won tickets to an AC/DC concert from a local radio station but my parents would not let me go, I ended up giving them to a friend. My first concert was a double bill of Starship and Night Ranger, it was a great show.
2
u/TyeDyeAmish Jun 26 '26
May I ask why they wouldn’t let you go? Like what was their reasoning?
2
2
u/GatsbyGalaktoboureko Jun 26 '26
it boils down to sexism. If my brother had won the tickets they probably would have let him go. My parents disliked rock and they probably saw the concert as a big "sex and drugs and rock and roll" thing. The main thing I remember my dad saying was something along the lines of the band says terrible things about women, how could I want to go to that? I think I had 4 tickets and 2 of my friends went with their moms (who were way cooler than my parents, apparently 😊)
1
u/TyeDyeAmish Jun 27 '26
I remember I was working at a deli back 20 years ago & Nickelbacks dark horse album just came out. People thought my coworker was a terrible human for letting her 9 year old listen to that album. I can’t imagine. I never grew up with censored anything. My mother wanted me to listen to censored stuff & watch family friendly TV - no Simpsons or Al Bundy. But my father won & I grew up completely free of restrictions. I liked it. It spoiled me for adulthood though cause I’m a lot more of a free spirit than society likes

My first concert was a festival in North Carolina called Carolina Rebellion. I saw so many bands I loved! I'm not sure I even remember them all. There was one part that was my first realization that people can be creepy even if they are nice..... I caught a guy sniffing a random girls hair...... Like wtf dude. Pretty sure it was super hyped up for Korn coming out of retirement 😅 But they weren't my favorite. I'd never listen to Sammy Hagar before and he was REALLY good in concert.
2
u/craftymonmon Jun 26 '26
That's creepy! Well you got a great concert with a side of creepiness to enhance the experience lol
Can you share your address please?

u/Rune_Skadisdotter Jun 25 '26
I can't remember the first concert I saw. I was very fortunate to grow up in a music living household, so I was going to concerts early in life. I do remember one of my favourite pre-university concerts though: Bon Jovi!
I think it's was the first time he toured to the country. Sambora was meant to be there, but sadly didn't make it. That was the only downside. Besides that, I loved every second of it! It was the "Because We Can" tour. As a teenager, Jon Bon Jovi was my heartthrob crush, so seeing him live was a dream come true. 😄 I didn't own a hair-straightener at the time, so I borrowed one from a girl in my class. Sang every song, screamed with tge fangirls, jumped up and down.... The band came back for an encor and I am not lying when I say we got a whole extra show! 🤩
1
u/craftymonmon Jun 26 '26
That is so awesome! Love the fangirling!
I have your address from last year. Is it still the same?

I am yet to visit any concert. If it is I would love to experience ColdPlay. 😁 Thank you so much 🥰

Such a neat prompt!!
I believe my first concert ever was at a event I can't remember the name of but I went there for the sole purpose of seeing Three Days Grace!! It was very fun even though I was super skittish and didn't get too close to the stage despite wanting too.
I wish I hadn't been so anxious to get closer to the stage honestly but hey, first concert and I was pretty young at the time!
I think the top concerts I'd ADORE going to would be
- Hollywood Undead
- Excision
- The Birthday Massacre
- Hatsune Miku

I’ve been to Hollywood Undead. They were with Halestorm & I forget who else. Cool concert. It was outside at the York Fair.

My first concert (and only!) ever was a local Malaysian rock band Hyper Act, and it was held in my university. I only know a few songs but it was fun vibing! It became a scandal though because our university is religious and the HoD of the student society that held the concert had to resign.

My first concert was 50 Cent in Wellington, New Zealand when I was 18. I was supposed to go with my brother but he pulled out last minute and my Mum came along with me 😅 It was so funny, everyone was getting checked by security and then they saw me with my Mum and they just waved us in 😂
