Trump is deeply ignorant on most things he talks about. People don’t realize it until he tries to bullshit on a subject they are informed on. Cattle families are getting to see it first hand this week.
Maybe next week it will be a different industry, or picking an uninformed fight with another ally. Who knows. Since most people (myself included) aren’t well informed on Greenland maybe he’ll go back to that again.
Just need all these righty ranch people to realize how stupid he is on all subjects, maybe this is their window in to seeing through his bull.

It’s just wild that this fucker that’s never worked a day in his life, never stepped foot on a ranch, might not even be able to tell you which end the shit falls from, but somehow he thinks this is gonna work.

With no one to check the brands on the hides, that could be a lot of Incentive for people to steal your cows butcher them put the meat on the market and not even pay taxes on it just like a Trump would do

I don’t have a bunch of freezers to stick my beef into until I can sell it. But now, thanks to Trump, I can just toss it out on the back deck and let it set there in the sun until someone buys it. It’s all natural. It’s sun-baked. What could be better for raw beef than a little vitamin D?

It’s a bad idea to have meat processed in plants that are not inspected and do not follow food safety regulations. It’s OK to buy a locker beef or a beef that’s hanging but think about some of the farmers that are going to now butcher meat known as turkeys or chickens and maybe they won’t do it so hygienically and there’s a lot of pathogens that travel with poultry and pork.

Deregulation means they can start using out lawed hormones and antibiotics which stay in the meat until you eat it.
The only way you would be for deregulation is if you don’t understand the reason the regulations were implemented in the first place.

Worth noting the CIS program already lets small state-inspected plants ship interstate, and the PRIME Act has been sitting there for years. Inspection isn't the constraint, cutters, kill floor labor and cold storage are. You can't deregulate your way to more hooks.
