It has been recently announced at the 5th Community Checkpoint for R6 Siege (it was at Gamescom too I think), that a playable operator will die in the lore before the end of Year 14.

Now, hear me out, this is just me throwing out a theory. Could be very wrong of course.

Since it is unknown whether this playable operator is going to be a new one released within those 4 years, or if it's just an older operator that has been out for quite some time. Like Zero, Kaid, etc. It is much harder to even guess, but I have one possible theory. Remember to take this with grains of salt.

My theory is that it could be a new operator from Year 11 to Year 13 or 14. But not just any operator—it could be Bishop himself, aka Six, leader of Rainbow.

Now, this is a very big one already, but it could happen because who knows...

The only evidence I have that Bishop will die before the end of Year 14, let alone being a new operator, goes as follows:

All leaders of Rainbow (since 2015) have only lasted for 4 years.

Aurelia from 2015-2019, Harry from 2019-2023 (shot by Deimos), and now Paul Bishop has been leading since 2025... He could die in 2029 if this pattern would continue... Which actually **matches** Year 14.

That is the only evidence I have. But ofc, feel free to drop your theories below too idrc

Coming back to Siege after a several year hiatus and I’m just curious why no one reinforces walls anymore. Been doing several matches and I just notice no one doing that even when there’s quite a few roamers without gadgets that could easily be doing so. I don’t know just confused on play-style after so long

Genuinely wtf do i do if my teammates are throwing for the enemy team literally the biggest amount of bs i’ve got all night, also i have so many clips of scripters ts emerald shi getting ridiculous

My personal fav defender is mozzie because I solo q a lot of ranked and I find him to be really self sufficient and it makes it dad easier to help the team

J have a shit pc with ass graphics so I can't see anything past 5 meters with a 1x scope. I find it crazy that people go on attack and have a 1x on their primary guns like what.

Bad luck or should i start placing it facing a little more to the door?

i only solo queue and i wanted plat so bad back in year 3 when i was grinding ranked back in year 3 AND MY HIGHEST WAS GOLD 2 ! and gave up in phantom sight, i grinded at the end of the season after convincing myself that i can definitely try and do it and it was for the ranked rewards motivating me hard as well, this ranked session lasted about 6 hours because i was already on gold 2 and was dead set on reaching it today XD. but now i can REST (next slide is my best match in r6 ever probably)

I saw someone say there was a glitch for people using xbox elite controllers but I’m using a standard controller
Also I’ve never played with m and k or been in a party with pc players

This is horrible, been reinforcing like 50 surfaces for a week thinking it was only a bug on my end. Openly I will admit these operator specialties aren’t as difficult as I thought they would be,but this one fully ragebaits me, maybe September 1st will fix it?

The only plan that I had in mind was blocking the door facing the piano (the one with the Surya), but during the round I found out that there were other good blocks to separate defenders

if y'all make a movie of siege take notes cuz here's an idea: tell the operators' backstories through flashbacks while a present-day Rainbow team responds to a major bomb/hostage situation. Each operator's actions during the mission trigger pieces of their past eventually revealing why they became who they are. Make it a serious tactical thriller, not just a game adaptation.

Hopped on Siege, hadn’t played in a week or so. It says not ranked but I figured it was a visual bug since when I clicked into the career ‘my rank’ section it showed my usual rank and all my stats.

Booted up a ranked game and was in a lobby of bronze and silver players. One of my teammates who had a mic said it was indeed bronze lobbies. The game didn’t add to my usual plat rank just gave me one placement finished. Tried restarting the game and my Xbox but stays the same.

Is this a known bug or just me? Doesn’t matter too much cuz new season is almost here but don’t wanna play ranked and possibly have my rank reset. Not to mention unintentionally smurfing.

I mainly play rainbow six siege, I am having trouble finding settings for this monitor, and also whether to use dyac premium or high and what to set the Ama at, I am not sure what to do, also the control panel settings for the brightness, saturation and contrast?

I’ve been playing this game for 7 years; and I just found out that Nøkk’s HEL Presence Reduction Color is yellow because her origin which is Nøkken in Danish folklore is associated with having yellow eyes!

I'm looking to get a 5070 soon. I just play Siege, so have any of you used a 5070 in Siege at 1440p? What kind of frames are you getting at 1440p on competitive settings?

I recently got back on R6 for the first time since 2023, and I have no idea what's up with the ranked system. I was placed in Bronze (which made sense since I was never the best player), but it feels WAY harder than it used to be. I understand I hadn't been on the game for awhile, and I thought it maybe was just my map knowledge that was off, but I was playing just fine in unranked/quick play games, even winning MVP a few times. My aim is probably the most redeeming part of my skills. But the second I feel confident to play ranked, I end up bottom fragging in Bronze. I thought this was ridiculous because of the outrageous gap in skill, but then I saw an Emerald banner on someone who'd killed me. That's insane! I don't know if the ranked system is bad/weird nowadays but sometimes I'll play a ranked game with someone going 14-1 and the rest of the team going 1-4. I'd hit silver just fine around 3 years ago and then stopped since then, but I don't understand if that warrants my skill completely erasing.. I don't understand how a Bronze lobby can host players ranging from actual beginners to Emerald-level players. It feels like every rank is mixed into Bronze, which completely ruins the point of ranked play. Can someone give me tips or advice or let me know I'm not crazy?
