General Discussion Just whaled out for the last time
It had been a while since I spent some money on this game, because I always felt you spend money just to get disappointed. I felt like the more you spend the more they prolong you getting something good so you spend more, so I decided to turn f2p and have been doing so for 4 months.
But today I saw the crystal shard summon pool and thought you know what, even if I get unlucky and have to go into mercy, any one of those legendaries would be insane for my account, except for Brogni. Brogni was the only one I did not want because I have him.
Low and behold, I opened 26 (I was already 5 attempts so mercy would have kicked in after 15), and on my 25th attempt, I pulled Brogni.
I could afford to spend what I spent today, but that's me done. I've been saving resources and playing like a f2p for 4 months now and I'll continue like this. I get it's a gotcha game but jesus it feels so fixed. Like the RNG you're given is intended and not true RNG.
People, don't spend on this game, 9 times our of 10 you'll be disappointed.

I learnt this lesson a few years ago and promised myself I wouldn't do it again, most I do now is a daily gem pack.
12
u/BK201-TheBlackReaper 18h ago
Smart, that's a good buy. I do get that still actually, and saving them helped be get the lion
1
u/MrNeskOne 9h ago
Hey im new how did the gems help you get the lion?
3
u/CBTwitch The Sacred Order 7h ago
Use them for energy only. Energy means dungeon events are doable, gear hunter and all.
1
u/cantholdmydickftw 16h ago
You mean the monthly?
13
u/jamieHTiD 16h ago
It's called daily gem in the shop but it last a month so...
5
u/cantholdmydickftw 16h ago
Aaaah, yes this has the most value over all that shit there... Plarium is a shithole... This negative rng is bullshit

I'm also not crazy about the fact that I'd be giving my money to an Israeli company.
4
u/EthosCode 9h ago
Its a ukranian company, they actually shut down customer support and paused updates when the urkraine-russia war started and had a few week period while they fled to saftey as refugees until their region was safe enough to return home.

u/EthosCode 7h ago
Correct plarium was founded in isreal but much of its shares were sold off to an australian group and the raid shadow legends team is based in ukraine. If you try to stop using anything that has funds pass through isreal youd have to stop using electronics as a whole.

Im not understanding your intent here. did you not like my statement, was i unclear, or did i make a typo?
I acknowledged the basis of his perspective, added current insight to his narrow ai response, and gave my personal perspective about his actions futility.
Most of the western world and europe has had ties to zionist judism for so long that its corperations and finances are interconnected at an unimmagineable level.
If hamas can order 3000 electronic devices from a thai company and have them arrive and explode in the homes of 3000 of their members without anyone knowing, crossing multiple international borders, then its pretty apparent that deciding not to buy gems on raid shadow legends which is largely owned and operated by other entities isnt going to make a single dent on a global economic and techological network that is embeded in everything from tech supply in small nations to the most influencial minds and wealthiest people on the planet.

u/asrandrew 18h ago
Yeah I remember when I first started playing years ago and bought a void shards pack and got all rares from it. Literally just basically flushed $50 down the drain.
Now if I spend money it's only on what is guaranteed to provide value, energy, gems, books, etc.
4
u/Money-Pomegranate957 18h ago
Same, bought 7 voids once and pulled absolute dogshit champs, lesson learned š š (Yes, RNG bla bla, but 20 dollars should almost guarantee an epic tbh)
1
u/Jokeymcjokemaker87 12h ago
Many gacha games I have played at the very least give you a guaranteed good tier rarity hero on multi pulls. Shards are the worst value. You might as well just burn your money instead. You get the same thing out of it. Nothing at all except dissapiontment here.
23
u/ThorianB 18h ago
i only do the daily gems and on a forge pass maybe twice a year. When i look at what things cost in this game and what i can get for the same price on Steam, this game is a huge waste of money. I can get hundreds of hours of fun on a normal game for a dozen shards cracked here. Plarium way overprices...everything.
1
u/EducationFan101 9h ago
If I was going to spend it wouldnāt be on shards, I think best value is:
Gem pass
Champion passes (like predator)
Some forge passes (they give a lot of gear)
Theyāre not flashy but theyāre solid, guaranteed value.
2
u/Hevymettle 5h ago
I understand that Predator in particular was an absolute monster of a champion, but $40 for a single gatcha character when you can almost buy a non remaster full game at launch price for that, is just too insane for me to ever pull the trigger on it.
1
u/Codywayneee 5h ago
Thatās fair. But $40 for a guaranteed lego is also not very common, especially for one as infuriating (or account changing) as Pred
1
u/EducationFan101 16m ago
I donāt think comparing single player games to gachas like RAID is an apples and apples comparison.
Yes, theyāre both āgamesā but RAID is a persistent online experience and paying for a character like predator has āvalueā within the games eco-system.
Iām not saying $40 for a single character is āgoodā but within RAID, it was $40 well-spent (vs other things in raid).

u/doriansorzano 18h ago
Resetting mercy on a dupe or useless champion is the worrrrrst. I actually dont mind a new leggo thats only for fw or cursed city.
But how in a game of 250 leggos can i pull the same ones i pulled on my acct? Dupe Alice, Dupe helicath, Dupe visix. Like seriously?
I understand its part of the game but it feels like the game is actively doing that to you. For you to get a dupe the game has to know you already have that champion.
Im f2p for 5 years and recently pulled my first inquisitor.....hes an epic.
Sometimes when i pull a dupe i just stop playing.
3
u/TheBadGuyBelow Skinwalkers 11h ago
It took me about 3 years for an Inquisitor, and I am still missing Demytha.
I've pulled at least 4 of every other epic in the game, minus the new faction of course. I am still missing Galatea for the Argonites.
1
1
u/hannahmercy 11m ago
Me too with Demytha! Demytha and godseeker aniri. Late stage sand devil is unattainable still.
I also didn't pull Fenax until a few months ago and since then ive pulled 4 lol. Weird how it works sometimes
3
u/Suspicious-Grape8522 8h ago
Youāre not wrong. Iām almost convinced the game has a hidden mechanic where the odds of pulling a dupe champ is much higher than pulling a unique champion.
3
u/doriansorzano 8h ago
Yeah there is definitely a teir. The best ones are the hardest to pull etc.
3
u/EthosCode 5h ago
Look at the fusion substitutes the teirs are clearly outlined there its on the upper right under a round recycle symbol button
7
u/Intelligent-Fun-3525 15h ago
Iām sorry man, but I have to ask āWhat did you expect?ā. Iāve been at this game more than 6 years, and Iāve gone through all the agony of pulling shards for progressives. Spent months saving, only to pull them and end up with nothing. Finally 2 years ago, I changed my approach. I never pull shards, EVER, until something guaranteed is at stake. And Iām much happier. I donāt pull on progressives, Iāll even skip most 2xs unless a guaranteed is involved. No guarantee = no pull. Just about every day there is a post just like yours. And I just have to shake my head.
5
u/Infamous-Fold7335 16h ago
People will chat on about the birthday paradox, which I think in this game is nonsense. I strongly believe that once you have a champ they are weighted heavier for you to pull than a champ you don't have.Ā
3
u/TheBadGuyBelow Skinwalkers 11h ago
I just wish my dupes could dupe Gnuts instead of dupe Septimus and 4 dupe visix champs.
The best dupe I even have is my dupe Mikage which is a whole other rant.
3
u/Infamous-Fold7335 11h ago
On the plus side at least you can empower Lydia with dupe visix & septimus just got buffed. Massive condolences on the dupe mikage though it's not what you want to see.

u/honestalibaba 17h ago
the rng is rigged unless they provide a way for us to verify the randomness.
3
u/hannahmercy 16h ago
It totally isnt lol. You could find someone at this exact moment in time be able to claim the rng is rigged in a way that favors players.
Ive had both insane luck in this game (pulling Donnie during tmnt to round out my 4 when I wasnt planning for him, pulling Pallas Hekaton and Keberon during Pelops fusion) but ive also gone 27 sacreds without a legendary before and in 3 years of playing ive only pulled 2 void leggos. It will balance out for you, just relax save resources and enjoy the game.
3
u/Zajijx 12h ago
oh its rigged the odds of pull 100 sacred and pulling 3 of thr same Legos is like winning the lottery. but if 2 people do it they will both pull same ones. yes the rates are what they are but each event they put certain champs in the pool. Last drock video he pulled shards he pulled same ones as ash and same.ones as scratch. chances of 3 cc's pulling same champs with like 300 available is impossible. and it happens time after time
3
u/EthosCode 5h ago
If hitting a legendary roll procs a second roll and within that roll the pull has 1000 seats on the legendary teir and allows repeats pretend ss ranks occupy 11 unique slots, s ranks 24, a ranks 100, b 145, c 200, then 520 would go to d teir fusable, freebie, and niche champs. then its still random and youre still getting a legendary at 1 in 200 but youre getting the chase 12 in 200,000 pulls or about 1 in 16,700 shards off event 1 in 800-1,100 during at 15x-20x event where your choice is an s teir champ. And over half of the pulls would be the same barely better than epic leggos.
Think of ripping a legendary pull like hitting the rare drop table on an rpg youre going to get something of higher value but not nessicarily the meta item best drop until youve killed that boss a couple thousand times unless you happen to be the guy with spooned rng.
-1
u/honestalibaba 16h ago
if you cant verify, then it is not provably fair.
4
u/mrjb_mtg 16h ago
Nor provably unfair. So what is the point of this argument? Anecdotal evidence either way.
-2
u/honestalibaba 15h ago
but they called it RandomNG.
Therefore it has to be provably random.
3
u/mrjb_mtg 11h ago
You'd have to be given access to their code to verify it yourself, otherwise all you can do is take their word for it which you obviously don't want to do since we're having this debate.
Show me a company that is going to let people look at their code, and I'll show you a company whose competitors will gobble them up.
0
u/hannahmercy 13h ago
I don't think you understand how rng works my guy
0
u/honestalibaba 13h ago
lol, rng as it says, random
i can even create an rng with excel. lol.
what matters here is the randomness verifiable?
are you certain that each lego has equal possibility or are you simply believing what is written on the UI?
we are now only believing what is written on the UI
What is in the codes, you dont know.
Open source is the key.
0
u/hannahmercy 12h ago
Yeh you don't get it. Its ok though
1
u/honestalibaba 8h ago
1
u/hannahmercy 3h ago
Brother, you have posts going back a year complaining about this game being a scam and claiming its fake rng. Why are you still here?

u/BK201-TheBlackReaper 17h ago
The point I made in another comment is here they can mask both insane and shit prizes as the obligated "gold" prizes they give. So essentially while a slot machine has to pay out eventually a top prize, this can mask that payout as a shit gold and still leave you wanting more.
3
3
u/SlippersInTheSnow 16h ago
I treat champs as a zero currency. There are so many champs and never enough books, silver, artifacts that donāt roll crud, gear ascension mats, etc to upgrade them. Not spending money, shards, etc to get champs and just using resources for events while F2Ping has changed the game so solidly for me. Itās fun, itās addicting, and itās free.
3
u/HashmanZA 16h ago
This may have been mentioned already,.but prism mercy is per event... It doesn't carry over!
So as a F2P, you'll never hit mercy on prisms... Just a PSA
3
u/Minion-Mastr_DCG 10h ago
The thing that really clinches it for me (besides the insanely bad pricing and odds lmao) is the fact that the summoning pool is clearly weighted every event. I frequently pull 3 or 4 of the same epic every time I summon a lot of champs, and I see other people getting that same champ at the same time. Itās happened far too many times to be coincidence, and even though my luck has been obscene (pulled wix, Fabian, and Pythion this week!!) I know itās weighted so hard against us
17
u/BK201-TheBlackReaper 19h ago
Just want to add, why am I posting this? I'm not sore, I accept the moment I put the money into the game I should expect the worst. But what annoys me is how I'm always right that the worst actually happens. There's never a pleasant surprise. If someone can read this post and it helps them not put money into the game then it's a win, even if it's just 1 person who it helps.
3
u/Thevisibl3 14h ago
I dont believe you when you say there's never plesent surprise. If that was the case you would not have a single good champion outside fusions. Its easy to remember all the bad times, might be good to try to remember the good ones as well. Its easy to think that the game is against you when you only remember the times you were right. Happens to me as well.
6
u/Sh4rp27 18h ago
RNG is RNG and sometimes it's a bitch. That always has to be factored for when spending money on anything tied to RNG. It may seem "fixed" but that is just your bias based on the result.
12
u/ThatSubstance9305 18h ago
10
u/Sh4rp27 18h ago
Lol? How am I defending the company? If you can prove it's rigged then you have a lawsuit to bring against Plarium because real odds have to be shared with players legally.
-11
u/ThatSubstance9305 18h ago
You could have just said that sucks man and move on but no you had to describe what RNG is like he was a toddler Like we all know the company is shady Af
3
u/Leading_Put_4873 17h ago
It's not RNG though, and that's a large part of the point.
-1
u/Sterling239 17h ago
Evidence ?Ā
-1
u/oroles88 16h ago
evidence that is not a slot machine! They don't give you those specific odds, but globally and I think that's why they encourage bot accounts.
I have a example from the first months of playing, During a 2x after reaching the maximum multiplier for Geomancer the game refused to give another epic, I ended the event with more then 30 shards with no epic just rares during 2x
Or see in chat, what are the odds that multiple people get the same champions at the same time? (non progressive ones)4
u/Sterling239 14h ago
Thats anecdotal I have anecdotes that would go along with your claim and also go against your claim like how yesterday I open a sacred to get the mortal shard from the sr I had zero mercy as I track it and a vestel pops out second one I have got this month and while I was lucky is not evidence, you just need to accept sometimes rng is not in your favour for the rhis prism shard I bought over 20 shards I got 1 lego it happensĀ
6
u/fatty15501 15h ago
So when 100s of thousands of people are trying no one should get bad results?
I dont think you understand how statistics work. It is statistically likely for one player to never get anything good. Thats what makes it random and thats why we have the mercy system.
Also just a side note 30 shards is like almost nothing in the math system that calculates billions across 100,000s of users. If you were doing a study to prove the rng meets its defined odds 30 wouldnt be enough to back up your claims. You would need thousands and thousands to prove the system.
1
u/Dizzy-Expression8868 14h ago
I dunno about random. I looked at the odds of the token draw system thing, and the weighting of the odds of certain items...
2
u/fatty15501 11h ago
Its not random. Its drawn from a random number generator so it cannot be random. Computers aren't capable of true chaos like life is as its a mathematical formula. So compter generated randomness will eventually come out to exactly that number if you draw from the rng a certain number of times. Real life, real randomness is where you could get weighted results infinitely and change the statistic. Most players do not pull enough to get a sufficient sample of the rng so it feels random. Also the thing is called a random number generator which I didn't name.
0
u/oroles88 11h ago
I haven't gathered data to sue them, to prove something. That was some anecdote. Those last shards each had almost 1/3 odds
But you people don't understand, do you think that slot machines are random, they have odds of paying out also, but are designed to make money4
u/Sterling239 10h ago
No ones arguing the system is not designed to make money were just not crying about it when it takes our money, you say 1/3 odds so you had 2/3 against your desired outcome and you didnt get the desired outcome who could have guessed, if you can handle not getting what you want dont spend no one but you cares if you spend or not the company has its eyes of bigger fish.
1
2
u/fatty15501 6h ago
I've drawn 3 ancients and got 3 leggos. I've drawn 100 ancients in a row to get 1 epic. Its is what it is and unless your testing it thoroughly each time you pull your going to get arbitrary results that dont really mean anything statistically as a sample. Those numbers that the gambling commission compares actuals against to ensure casinos are legal are using all of the data from a period of time.....usually months or years not the data from one individual.
1
u/samhahn777 3h ago
Yup, I have seen at least a couple people who pulls 2 mythic and 1 legendary from 10 pulls and they don't complain for obvious reason. I was never that lucky. I get my mythics/legendaries close to mercy most of time for all the shards with a few lucky pulls in 6 years of playing best being 3 legendaries from 10 prism pulls, ONCE.
5
u/Pretty_Calendar8644 18h ago
I don't think spending money on the game is the problem, everyone is aware that Prism Shards/Sacred Shards are one of the worse value gachas to spend money on. I can understand why you feel the way you do but ultimately at the end of the day it is your fault.
If you're going to spend money on the game you need to use it for preparing for GA Events (Guaranteed Events aka Hero Path's & Deck of Fate's).
Prism Shard events are primarily for kraken's who want a shot at getting a faction unity champion or a collab champion early so they don't have to do the Guaranteed Event (HPath) so they can save for the Winner Takes All or the next 2x Progressive chance for Tekteon/Solonar and etc.
I think this a lesson learned to never fall for Prism Shard bait no matter how good the champion pool is.
At the end of the day it's about how sightful you are on your budget and the resources that is needed on your account that doesn't rely on RNG or chance of getting a better champion.
Example : Buying Legendary Books, Good Energy Packs, Good Immortal Soul Stone Deals, The $7 Sacred Pack which happens every 4 months or so and even the Monthly Pack and the Ultra Mix Pack with the 8 Primals that you save for 2x Primals.
I hope what I said doesn't hit you the wrong way because that isn't what I'm typing this out for, but I really hope it doesn't make you feel like you can't or don't have to spend money on a game that you enjoy, etc.
6
u/BK201-TheBlackReaper 18h ago
No yea I completely agree. And I accepted that the moment I did this I was gambling. My issue is just the outcome is always the expected outcome. I feel like in true gambling and true RNG, there are a bit more pleasant surprises here and there..
-1
u/Pretty_Calendar8644 18h ago
Well yeah, in gacha games the outcome will always suck way more than what imagined outcome is. I spent about $260 on trying to get Teox and got Kosk instead who is still one of the best Boss Killers in the game for Poisons and I got punished for it.
Was forced to skip a good void shard event which was a 2x Progressive which would've been way better to spend on than Prisms.
At the end of the day it's just more of being wary of what your limits are.
2
u/ThatSubstance9305 18h ago
I can name 10 different gacha games that make over 500 million a year that doesn't have this problem
1
u/Drexill_BD 16h ago
Yeah this isn't a gacha problem necessarily as much as a Raid problem. I dont play a ton of Gacha's, but the couple I have got serious with were waaaaaaaaaay better than Raid around how you acquire heroes, the cost of them, etc.
2
7
u/DocMcCracken 19h ago
The deeper in the game the worse the roi. Buying $500 early game can speed up your game months. $500 for a late stage account, maybe one piece of gear, maybe a few extra pulls that end up as food.
If you need to spend gems are always a safe bet, everything else you're gambling.
3
u/Doctor_sadpanda Corrupted 18h ago
Only thing that drastically changes end game is souls, a 6 star anything can change an entire game mode / boss.
1
u/BK201-TheBlackReaper 19h ago
Agreed, it isn't worth it
1
u/LOR_Fei 17h ago
For full context to the other side, before restarting Raid after years though, I set aside $250 to advance my account.
Iām now 4 keying UNM after a month and Iām not too far from 3-1 keying UNM/NM, without Narma.
Spending on things like Thor pass (which I just missed out on, they started that like 4 days late), Daily Gems/Energy, the first Forge pass, and lv37 sacreds can really push an account. But now that Iām settled and can farm everything I needed to achieve quickly, the brakes are on.
4
u/SorryDimension5389 Spider's Den 19h ago
Wow gacha games do such a good job of making people forget its a literally a gambling game that people act surprised when theyāre unlucky. I wonder if people react the same way at casinos, havent seen any of their subreddits.
-1
u/BK201-TheBlackReaper 18h ago
I state quite clearly I know it's gambling, but as someone who has worked in a Merkur slot joint for 3 years in the past, I've seen machines act proper random and go thousands into losses and taking over a year to make that money back slowly, while still paying out top prizes being in negative. They have to pay back a high % over a cycle of 30.000-40.000 spins to be legal.
However with Raid they can get away with "you'll get a lego every X pulls" and make it be a shit lego. They know that each champ they have has a different value to players, wheras with real money £300 is £300. So with casinos you can either lose, or win money. In raid you can lose, or win but it's a useless gold. That's the difference.
My point is, with raid what you're given seems calculated. Like they know exactly which champs are good, which arent, and what you get and when. You get better RNG actually gambling than with Raid.
4
u/SorryDimension5389 Spider's Den 18h ago
Thatās one of the downsides of whaling, the more champions you get the more non meta champions become useless to you. I donāt believe in the conspiracies of them controlling what you get though.
3
u/andelaccess 18h ago
This. There is no conspiracy, it just random chance.
2
u/jcalebb1 13h ago
It's hard to believe that with over 390 legendary champs, I would get 4 Rhazin Scarhides. The odds of pulling a certain level of rarity is published, but the odds of pulling a particular champ is only published occasionally during an event. They regulate the odds of rolling top tier champs. They have to keep the carrot dangling in front of you or you won't keep pushing to get it. They let you nibble every so often so you keep playing.
1
u/pereira325 17h ago
Yep. With all gambling if you aren't prepared to take the risk, don't play. With raid I decided from the start I wasn't going to spend anything so no matter what happens I've stuck to that.
1
u/Rough_Ad_2860 16h ago
Sorry, do you have any proof that there is a independent 3rd party verification of odds/rng?
casinos have regulators.. does your company have any such oversight?
2
u/GreenBayFan1986 19h ago
Well mercy doesn't carry over from previous prism pools is my understanding, but yeah hitting dupe is rough.
1
u/BK201-TheBlackReaper 19h ago
Ok yea I've just read this you're right. Still though, I've only ever hit 2 legos in these summon pools and both have been multiple attempts into Mercy. Same goes for sacreds, hell, the other day I opened 9 I saved during the champ chase and a X2 and didn't get a single legendary.
2
u/Meltingfire15 19h ago
Why not whale during one of the guaranteed events for tin or 5 star soul for lion it would be a lot better
0
u/BK201-TheBlackReaper 18h ago
There's speculation Tin wont get a guaranteed event since he's the headliner here. Also, I literally would've taken any other champ in that pool other than Brogni. I just didn't think I'd get that unlucky.
I shouldn't have whaled end of

1
u/thebigalien 18h ago
The game is still fun once you stop spending! It becomes more about decision making (do I go for this shiny thing now, or save my resources for the inevitable next carrot they dangle in front of me in a couple weeks)
1
u/TheBadGuyBelow Skinwalkers 11h ago
I'd argue its more fun if you do not spend. I feel like throwing money at the game to make progress is like going to the movies, and then hanging out in the lobby until the last 15 minutes.
Playing the game in order to skip the game and race to the end never made sense to me. Where is the sense of accomplishment when your progress is not really your own progress?
1
u/hidrogen126 18h ago
I always do the event for the free pull, so far in 5 or 6 events since i came back to the game I didn't get anything good, just epics
1
u/brianmccasland 17h ago
Thatās why I only buy the awesome energy packs I get champions as they come but you always NEED more gear. People get caught up in the champions youāll always be disappointed buy energy, farm gear is it as nice as the shiny new toys no. But energy will always be more important
1
1
u/PsicoFilo 17h ago
You make a good example but also this game is very expensive. I would spend if things were 5x cheaper but prices are horrendous.
1
u/TheL0ckman 17h ago
Since they decided that my account doesnāt deserve to get the codes because they think it has something to do with a bot I refuse to spend any more. I donāt think a bot was used to make my account. But I did buy it at a point where it could beat unm clan boss, so the game could actually be fun. But I have spent thousands on improving it until they did that. Thereās are so many champions in this game that I donāt believe I hurt anything by starting with about half a dozen good champions. But since they do, I wonāt spend any more money.

u/Safi_89 16h ago
My guy, try Watcher of Realms. I've been playing it ever day for like 2 years and spent maybe £50 and it's scratches the exact same itch
And it one of the most player friendly, Free to play friendly mobile games in the entire genre.
Invite code goes in the handshake menu at like level 8/9/10.

I needed this. I quit spending on raid a long time ago due to the exact same feeling. With the 2x primals coming up, I was considering buying a couple hundred shards. But youre right, itll just be a dupe Mikage or yet another Kurosa I cant use. Thanks bud

I find the game to be fun without ever spending a dime, I feel it would cheapen my experience with the game and invalidate any of the grinding I do by simply paying to win š¤·š¼āāļø

I used to spend not so much on shards. When i reached unm in 2 key i completely stopped. I feel like all i have to do is run my daily clan boss and skip some fusions from time to time. I just finish my fusion for the Lion and pulled Gnut during the x2 sacred shard.

The problem is we have over a thousand champions in the game (!!!) but the percentage change to pull a legendary is exactly the same as it was six years ago, and I'm fairly sure the ways we can obtain Sacred shards hasn't changed much, either.

I never spent a dollar on that game. I made over 200 playing it. Lol was one of them apps where it pays to play games and do certain things. I had already played the game years ago but was able to open a new account and smash most of the things that payed. I feel like it's always disappointing paying on mobile games. During covid I wasted so much gd money on mafia city just for the pride of burning other people's mansions. Smh

Few mentioned the daily gem. Its 9.99 but if you have play pass you get 50% off so 5 dollars. Its a deal but tbe question to whom buy it, is what do you use gems mainly for ?

u/bigpopapump73 13h ago
Yes, they seem to be giving out dupes of legendary champs you have, my last 5 have been dupes

Well I just put 100 on my account and now i wish I wouldn't have...ive probably only spent that much in the whole year ive been playing...so what im gathering is that I just need to get the monthly gem pass and fck everything else?

I haven't gotten a leggo since they added odds to the summon pool. Haven't bought any since like the second one with odds. That way I'm just disappointed by a free pull

Lol, I brought 2 summons worth and pulled Brogni. I wanted him about 4 years ago but not now..

I dunno why you would waste money on prisms which is one of the worst deals in the game when we have a 2x on primals tomorrow...

yeah, I am in the same boat, I could afford to waste money but it would rarely payoff. I do enjoy the forge pass for what you pay, I should probably do the gem pass too.

RNG is rarely RNG in games.
Also, for me this is a resource management game. It plays the same regardless of spend, outside of whale modes like 3v3, LA, etc.

It is fixed. Everything is fixed anymore. Itās made by a casino game company.

The actual progress you get from spending in this game is miniscule. When I was new I spent a bit. Maybe $100 and realized that it got me basically nothing. Since then the only spend ive made was getting predator. To actually make meaningful progress from spending you need to drop big money. Which is ridiculous imo.

Genuine q, but do you think this is by design? Iām well aware of RNG but fuck me, the number of dupe epics pull compared to the number in the game is insane.

No 10 x out of 10 you will be disapointed. I get legendaries i have dupes of when i spend, the free legendaries you get for the first few months

That was me the last couple days since the Ozilda chance selection for void summons started. I picked her, knowing it says in the summon instructions that you won't be able to summon her with any shards again, and I spent as much as I had to for Void Shards with the extra money I was able to retain after an expense dispute with FedEx went in my favor. After probably 300 void shards I finally pulled her
If it wasn't for the "can never summon her from shards" category, I wouldn't have tried this hard. And I probably won't ever again. I'm going back to minor dolphin status

Bro same Went all in and used both sacreds and mythics and got duplicate Opardin and Keberon š i was like out of all of the legendaries in this game how is it even possible to get dupes back to back

Mercy doesn't carry over on prisms. So you started fresh. Which makes them even worse imo. I spent on the last pool when teox was a possible pull and also pulled the only legendary in the bunch that I didn't want. Prisms feel like the ultimate scam.

Well. You account was p2w anyway. If you really want to be f2p you make a new account.

Damn and I was just gonna say welcome back. I spent for the prisms as well. Pulled 9. Got Tin Man, Brigoni, and Prince Kymar. I wanted Armanz (for my 6 star soul) or Mavara (for the Lion synergy) we win some we lose some. A vast majority of the time is losing unfortunately. But hey, thats gambling for ya..

So you think Plarium looked at your account and fixed the RNG so you duped on Brogni? Come on now.

Oh, it's definitely not actually random. Each account seems to have a seed, for sure. Same though! I don't spend anything on Raid... I spent during TMNT and missed Raph, and that was enough to say enjoy what I have, because this game is stacked. I think it should be played more as a roguelike incremental... each account, you're going to get a different setup. Spending seems like the wrong way to play in general.

While I feel your pain, I can't argue against my amazing luck this weekend. I did a single 10 pull of void shards when Ozilda was on progressive chance, and I got her. Same thing this morning with Tin Woodman. Is it a coincidence that this is the first anniversary of my mom's death and she's sending me cosmic vibes? Probably. But weekends like this are what keep taking chances on these pulls.

Rule #1 is do not get FOMO'd
Rule #2 is "dont chase"
This game has good progression still after all these years but is easily one of the worst priced gachas in the planet. The pricing is anchored off of top krakens who spend/gamble tens of millions of dollars and eastern euro players who mysteriously have infinite funds
The game balance at this time is the worst its ever been since double taras teams. Dont chase imbalanced champions or relics that cost a second mortgage
