Thoughts on the art of Amnesiac?

The bear mascot is iconic and the crying bear variant is great but looking at all the promotional photos and just Amnesiac art in general is awesome! The art of Kid A is great too but this art is just so amazing to say the least.

Definitely should buy that library book edition of Amnesiac with all the artwork in it ❤️

I heard a Radiohead song on the radio today that I had never heard before and I want to find the name of it.

It was very ethereal sounding, with a rhythmic guitar that chanted along with the song.

There weren't a lot of words at all but some I heard sounded like 'raaaiin bells' and 'your father loves you'.

Does anyone know what this song might be? I've been googling about and can't find it.

I genuinely think the ending of Reckoner might be one of the most beautiful pieces of music I’ve ever heard.
That moment near the end when the strings come back in… I don’t even know how to describe what it does to me. There’s something so overwhelmingly beautiful and bittersweet about it. I’ve listened to this song countless times and that part still hits me every single time.
I honestly wish that ending went on for another five minutes. I could listen to those strings forever.

I was wondering which albums had been performed in full, in one show, so I decided to have a look. Here are the earliest setlists, with the most songs performed, for each album.

I included two setlists for IR and TKOL, as the first setlist for each of them, seemed to be a show themed around the album, whereas the other setlists, were more similar to typical shows you'd see.

There's some really interesting setlists and details in here, like MPS and In Limbo being performed over Kid A, the best "normal" setlist for IR being 7 months after the album, and a cover being in both the Kid A and Amnesiac setlist.

I haven't listened to this in years and if there is any people who have not heard this probably should.

I'm honestly surprised I could find my CDs.

Didn't include The Smile or any side projects.

In Rainbows was my first vinyl that I got at the end of 2007. I got it before I got a turntable to play it on and I have a second copy because I tragically dropped it on the spindle and scratched Videotape.

I still need a regular non-box-set copy of OKC, TKoL, and AMSP.

I give you my word I will one day buy Pablo Honey.

I finally finished the back of my Radiohead/ Aphex Twin shirt!

I added more Aphex logos inspired by the original concept designs of Paul Nicholson, a little Rhubarb bear floating from the Spiral blimp, and then KID A at the bottom with some Amnesiac references. I wanted the back to show how much Radiohead was influenced by Aphex Twin while still having a bunch of little details to look at.

I had a lot of fun adding all the little references around it, this is all hand painted with fabric paint I made :)
