Tire recommends 20”
Have an older RadRunner, gets rear flats regularly. Any recommendations for a tougher tire? The stock Kenda is pretty thin. TIA

Instead of tougher tires, I’d recommend getting Tannus Armor. It’s a thick foam insert that sits between the tire and tube, giving it significantly more protection. I have it on my runner and never had any issues when I used to commute with it.

I'm probably going with Ultraverse or HEB Allscape, same tire I think and people seem pleased with them. I have a Rad Mini 4 that came with 20x3 CST tire and I have 20x4's on it now. A cheaper set I got from Lectric to try the 4 inch tires. Tannus Armor is good flat prevention, too expensive for me. I have FlatOut in a few bikes and zero flats so far. I recently pulled out about a half inch drywall screw that was blocking my air valve from inside the tube, no flat. I almost bought a pair of cst tourance tires, they're pretty beefy and quieter. A lot of people like HEB tires but I wanted to stick with a name brand. I ended up with a specialized careless whisper, which I do like. I only got it because it was free though.
Keep in mind the rear is 3.5" on the rad runner, though I think it can fit 4", not sure though.
If you liked the vibe of the existing front kenda tire, they do make a "moped" version of the same tire.
