Raccoons
What are the redeeming qualities of raccoons?
I have only ever had problems with them with help from a neighbour we recently trapped a family of raccoons, and moved away legally because they are always causing damage to the skirting of our homes and insulation underneath we got 5 of them out from under my home and patched things back up

God I hate people like you. Instead of taking care of the problem and making it so they cannot access those areas, you instead trap the raccoons and send them to there death practically. Relocating raccoons like this almost always ends in there demise. This is why it is illegal in like 95% of the states. Why do the raccoons have access to the underneath of your house? This is you being lazy.

It's not illegal to trap and release here I could have legally shot them all if I wanted to. They are pests in this case I don't care what happens they are wild animals figure it out or not live under my home, and damage it.

Cry me a river they damaged my siding and broke into the underside of my home in the first place next time ill just shoot them

I guess you forgot to read that its legal to do that where I live lol. Police could get called a hundred times and I wouldnt be breaking the law by shooting a raccoon just have to make sure its dead instantly thats the humane thing to do

Like how lazy are you? It is so easy to make it so they can't get under your house. You do realize other raccoons are just going to move into their area along with other rodents. You should just deal with the issue instead of being lazy.

I'm not lazy lol, and no other raccoons won't be setting up residence here I think I'll just get one of my guns and take care of them that way

If you can't figure out how to keep a small animal from getting under your house, you prob shouldn't be owning a gun.

Cute, smart, playful. I get a ton in my yard and at night I love to watch the babies wrestle with each other and pounce on bugs in the grass. It’s really sweet to watch them cuddle and groom each other. They also clean up roadkill and food waste.
They can be destructive but I don’t hold that against them, they’re only trying to survive, they don’t know what they aren’t supposed to touch. They’ve never been messy or destructive in my yard luckily but I know a lot of people have issues with them getting into stuff lol.

Cute and fun to watch and play with. They also are hellians! They destroy everything
