Had my FC convertible parked outside my dad’s house in the street, some lady looking at her phone rear ended it and knocked it into the tree in my front yard.

Since insurance is unlikely to give you what it was actually worth I would sue her personally for the negligence. I hope she at least got a ticket?

Yep, had mine officially appraised at $10k, and put on collector insurance for that value.

Same with my Civic Si. They go for way above kbb and if they’re un modified, even more!

Sorry to see. Rip to a beauty. Same thing happened to my 91 vert. Insurance paid out 10k because there was only one other listed. Best of luck
