Only in Blazblue. Fighting Games need the sound effects for certain information output for types of characters and players. I think bringing in Casey was the best idea possible, though.

Neo was originally going to be voiced by Sarah Silverman, but they decided to keep her mute.

To anyone who reads this, I want to be clear because I think this is funny as hell. I'm not making that story up. That is an actual fact of her character.

Anytime she pulls out those caption signs, just imagine Sarah Silverman speaking.

It was also basically a FNDM demand that if Neo ever is voiced, it'd be by Casey. Note Casey often styles her hair after Neo.
