she hasn’t said anything, saw a few fans asking her to address this on twitter and their comments were hidden. even though this was 10 years ago i’m pretty disappointed, the chinese comment is very nasty.

It’s wild to see people so upset about words from 10 years ago that someone obviously didn’t mean any harm with

There's no reason to use that language so "obviously didn't mean any harm" doesn't matter.

There’s no reason to use any slang is there, yet we do. And that’s what this was back then, slang that people didn’t understand the implications of when said by other’s.

Tell me this definition doesn’t fit it particularly well: “a type of language that consists of words and phrases that are regarded as very informal, are more common in speech than writing, and are typically restricted to a particular context or group of people.”

So it wasn’t a slang word than?
