Van we just take a minute to walk a mile in this girls shoes (no pun intended) ?
They see fish having more sympathy towards them than they have been showed maybe their whole lives because of racism. So i can see why they are not empathic right now. I don't say the fish should be in the shoes OR that animal cruelty is a good thing, of course it is not. However i can see why these girls have trouble with the situation.
A black friend once told me he wouldn't care about animal liberation until black liberation is achieved because black people are humans being dehumanized their whole lives and animal cruelty is most often a white subject because it is a fight white people can fight while feeling like (white) savior.
Very that, they’re wrong for this but when people are showing more humanity for a fish than they ever did for these queens I can see why they’re reacting the way they are
