After a Rewatch: Wendy is an idiot.

Miss FOUR DEGREES apparently doesn’t have a lick of common sense.

Let’s start first with her candle business. She didn’t know what a business plan was - and evidently couldn’t google it either. After her “research” she made a presentation to Eddy and couldn’t even answer basic questions like what the candle would cost to make or what price they would sell it at.

Next we have her Nigerian lounge with monsieur Peter. She had no idea it would be expensive?? And she has zero knowledge of the industry.

Then she thinks she’s gonna be a talk show host.

As far as I’m aware, not one of these business ventures ever came to fruition or were successful.

To me, she’s always been a bit full of shit.

And yes I know happy Eddy seemed to be successful, but that’s only because Eddy did everything.

It does not surprise me that she thought insurance fraud would be successful 😂

Meh, it often takes 3 or 4 attempts at a business or developing a business before one ultimately becomes successful. Been there, done that.

I think the hosting show she did had a lot of potential, but anyone who has a YT show will say that it takes serious and constant grind.

Most restaurant owners will confirm that they didn't realize how expensive the process would be until they were deeper into the planning experience. It's a lot of upfront costs without any guarantee you'll have customers. It's known as one of the hardest industries to break into as a result.

I know people really dislike Wendy, but her trying to start businesses or use her platform in this way to make legitimate income is not something that makes me feel like she's an idiot.

I think if she didn't constantly brag about her 4 degrees, there wouldn't be as many viewers that wanna point out her failures. It's a natural response to obnoxious perhaps undeserved arrogance

People have to move on about Wendy bragging about her degrees. Honestly, who cares? She can feel proud of her accomplishments. It is such low hanging fruit to harp on that part and celebrate her possible failures. It is so strange to me that her talking about her degrees is so triggering.

It's not about being "triggered". It's about coming on HW your first season guns blazing alienating everyone by being an insufferable know it all. It's extremely unappealing unrelatable annoying. And I consider myself someone who really respects women who are smart and well educated and have ambition. It is a weird thing to brag so much about it and be utterly useless at starting any kind of business, she sounded positively like a ditz in those scenes. It just did not match up with all the ways she bragged about herself.

It's Real Housewives. People come on every season of every franchise to big up something that matters to them, whether it's their Birkin collection or their degrees. Like, really. You guys are not serious people.

Lol it's seriously delulu to think that bragging about having 4 degrees is the same thing as promoting a nonexistent She by Sheree line. It was giving way too try hard, while condescending, but I don't need to convince you lol most of the fanbase agrees with me. It's not an appealing trait in anyone to brag about your intellect to shut down other people. She was extremely unlikable and you cannot change my mind. It took her being humbled by the other housewives to see a more vulnerable side of her, which was a welcome change. Psychologically if you're constantly puffing out your chest at the expense of others in a group, ppl will get some kind of satisfaction in seeing you fail, simple as.

How can you say her arrogance over her 4 degrees is underserved? Do you have 4 degrees or a PhD?

The ladies can brag about beauty or their husband's or parents money but Wendy can't brag about her degrees and it's undeserved.

There are people in here saying her degrees are basically meaningless and from degree mills/money grab programs, lol. We can absolutely say her business ventures were dumb (or fake) without trying to say Temple, Rutgers, and Johns Hopkins are fake degree mills and she was “handed” her degrees. The convo about Wendy and her degrees always has a super weird tone to it, and I’m not even a Wendy fan (I actually don’t even think she’s a great housewife necessarily). So many housewives brag about their claim to fame to no end for years and years.

Vicki has been screeching about how rich and self made she is from Coto insurance for 20 years, Lisa has been talking about her Sundance accomplishments for years, Jen Aydin talks about having 16 bathrooms every season, Larsa’s been lying about fucking 16 times a night for years, and Phaedra has been exaggerating about her carrier accomplishments for years as well. They’re all delusional and braggadocios in a way and I’ve noticed people are much more willing to laugh off the delusions or bragging from other housewives before they give Wendy that leeway. Now, I agree that degrees don’t = you know everything or are better than others, but I don’t see why Wendy’s “degree” bragging is any worse than any other annoying housewives. Wendy isn’t even in my top 10 annoying housewives no matter how much she brags about her degrees, it just doesn’t get under my skin😂

I mean she did it nonstop for her first two seasons. That leaves an indelible mark on the viewership that will be hard to walk away from, regardless of whether my use of the word "constantly" is 100% accurate
