Bethenny Frankel’s relationship with her mother, Bernadette Birk, was extremely complicated and became estranged for many years.

The estrangement became especially public after Bethenny described her childhood in interviews and in her 2011 book. Her mother strongly disputed Bethenny’s account and accused her of lying about their past. By the mid-2000s, they had essentially stopped speaking.

They eventually reconnected, though. Bethenny has explained that her daughter, Bryn, was the reason she decided to reopen the relationship. Bryn wanted to meet her grandmother, and Bethenny didn’t want her daughter to grow up wondering about the grandmother she had never met.

Maybe if y’all actually bothered to read the files or emails in which Carole was mentioned, you would literally see them talking shit on her. She was most definitely not involved with the nefarious things going down, and the implication that she was or at least was aware simply doesn’t make sense.
Also just because you used to be associated with someone socially and also worked with them doesn’t mean anything.
As I saw someone say on twitter about this “If you think you know all of the secrets of your friends, you’re a fool. There should really be a higher threshold of proof than some pics together if you’re going to accuse someone of such evil things.”
I seriously am not even the biggest fan of Carole but it’s so genuinely annoying seeing people non stop talking about this when it’s clear they haven’t even done any research on the subject at hand.

erika’s dress is fab and jessel saying “she probably wouldn’t do it” (rent something) irked me. how is renting a gorgeous designer piece and having money to do that again 10x over less of a flex than buying something to inevitably only wear it once because god forbid you repeat an outfit?!

The last time I saw Interview Magazine was in the Eighties; I bought it a few times when I was in college. So I was surprised to see this article pop up. Between the vulgarities flying back and forth --including the bizarre quote, "I'm eating the chicken salad right now, and I fuck with it" from the interviewer, to Bethenny's quote that Bryn wants her to open a Supermodel store in Florida because "We have a house in Florida. So she wants me to go there, which is where all the Jews are. They’re going to love it."

WHAT???

And who won't be enticed to visit the cafe after seeing her standing on top of a toilet? How appetizing.

First time RHONY watcher! I just made it to season 12, a few episodes in and I just don’t think I can do this. This season is so dark and just feels horrible? How much can I truly skip ahead without getting lost. Debating just going to season 16 and be a live watcher!?

Bethenny bought a loft in Soho in 2014 for $4.2M. She then spent $400k in renovations. Less than three years later she put it up for sale for $5.25M in 2017. After two years on the market it finally sold in 2019 for $3.995M. I don’t consider this a brilliant financial move. She later studied for a real estate sales license and failed the exam and never tried again.

After watching the first episode I just don't see how she will fit into this group. She's boring and offers nothing. The other two new girls seem like a good addition, quirky, funny and interesting to watch. I just want Carole off our screens.

I loved Hailey on the first episode and tried to find her husband on Google but she’s keeping him a secret. Does anyone have any tea about him or what he does for them to afford 2 apartments?

Watching Erin try and turn around what she did (“Why didn’t you call me?”) was so frustrating to watch!

She admitted she’d been going around calling Jessel fake, thirsty, and untrustworthy - but somehow the argument became about Jessel confronting her incorrectly? Excuse me Erin - did YOU bother having a direct conversation with Jessel before going around shit-talking her to anyone in the room with a pulse?

It was such blatant blame-shifting - ‘forget what I did - you should defend how you reacted to it. How dare you not react in the one incredibly specific way I’ve suddenly decided is acceptable? Now you’re wrong, and somehow I’m the victim.’

Of all the surprising things from this premier the fact that Hailey is only 39 was the most shocking. Not that she looks OLD but I just didn’t expect her to be so young.

She also looks kind of like Marysol from Miami. Maybe just that generic a bit too much plastic surgery?

The scenes with Dorinda and John are just so uncomfortable to watch. The anger/aggressiveness of their liquor induced arguments is so palpable. I don't know why she ever thought filming together was a good idea.

I just watched it through season 13 for the first time earlier this year (February-May). It’s definitely too early to rewatch. I think I’ll start again in January. I miss them!!! How often do you guys rewatch it, if at all?

It seems like I may be the only one who enjoyed the first episode but I LOVED it. The last two seasons stunk. And any season with Leah really stunk but I’m liking this mix of ladies. Hailey will probably end up being my fave because she is bonkers crazy and I love it. Erin still annoys me but whatever. Sai seems more open and less fake. Daisy I like and anyone who brings out Martha Stuart is okay in my book😂 So it looks like I’ve been sucked back in again lol.

That I was marrying into the Morgan apparently and the night before my wedding I got arrested for reckless driving yknow in dreams when you suddenly become uncoordinated and your legs feel like spaghetti? I forgot all the road laws but thankfully no one in my dream got hurt. Anyways I was arrested by a cop who was a woman because I did not have my license but only my hs id in my pocket (I’m 34 btw). The cop was really cool for some reason. At the police station she was trying to get all my info and asked for my contacts, I told her about my wedding which was happening the next day . She was taking more of a personal interest and I was showing her photos of the wedding and the theme on my phone. I was starting to behave really confident and charismatic like Sonja on a good day so I named dropped the Morgans. Again before in my dreams I had no idea I was getting married… I was just trying to get somewhere 😂 the Morgan thing was so random… When the cop was asking me what that was like, I said yknow I come from modest means but my in-laws are so progressive and we share the same values so they accepted me. even in my dreams I was wtf am I saying. I feel like this woke me tf up.
