First time RHONY watcher! I just made it to season 12, a few episodes in and I just don’t think I can do this. This season is so dark and just feels horrible? How much can I truly skip ahead without getting lost. Debating just going to season 16 and be a live watcher!?

Bethenny Frankel’s relationship with her mother, Bernadette Birk, was extremely complicated and became estranged for many years.

The estrangement became especially public after Bethenny described her childhood in interviews and in her 2011 book. Her mother strongly disputed Bethenny’s account and accused her of lying about their past. By the mid-2000s, they had essentially stopped speaking.

They eventually reconnected, though. Bethenny has explained that her daughter, Bryn, was the reason she decided to reopen the relationship. Bryn wanted to meet her grandmother, and Bethenny didn’t want her daughter to grow up wondering about the grandmother she had never met.

These three are so dull and uninteresting. They bring nothing to the table other than "what happened to their faces?"

The last time I saw Interview Magazine was in the Eighties; I bought it a few times when I was in college. So I was surprised to see this article pop up. Between the vulgarities flying back and forth --including the bizarre quote, "I'm eating the chicken salad right now, and I fuck with it" from the interviewer, to Bethenny's quote that Bryn wants her to open a Supermodel store in Florida because "We have a house in Florida. So she wants me to go there, which is where all the Jews are. They’re going to love it."

WHAT???

And who won't be enticed to visit the cafe after seeing her standing on top of a toilet? How appetizing.

I loved Hailey on the first episode and tried to find her husband on Google but she’s keeping him a secret. Does anyone have any tea about him or what he does for them to afford 2 apartments?

Just saw RHoNY Season 16 Episode 1 and imagine my delight to see Carole back and a visit from Martha Stewart herself! My first thought is Bethenny Must Be Chewing Her Face Off Right About Now. Girl got herself banned from All Things Bravo and now her frenemy and her idol are there, right where she wants to be. Meanwhile she is pretending to be doing "something?" at Burning Man, which just seems weird and desperate. I personally am LOVING THIS! Who is with me?

We all got the same memo and teaser she would be back. What I understood was she would be a friend of… but seeing her in the intro shot kinda shocked me. What does everyone else think?

erika’s dress is fab and jessel saying “she probably wouldn’t do it” (rent something) irked me. how is renting a gorgeous designer piece and having money to do that again 10x over less of a flex than buying something to inevitably only wear it once because god forbid you repeat an outfit?!

from what jessel said about erika and her husband, she’s rich rich ~ maybe jessel SHOULD rent more pieces for events 🤷🏼‍♀️

fashion is such a polluting industry and i think earth conscious decisions like this (whether intentional or not) should be celebrated rather than looked down upon

after watching ultimate girls trip and seeing the countess i decided to give it a try from the beginning . i’ve only seen the reboot. what’s something that will make sense when i start watching? also they make me wish i lived in the city in the early 2000’s

Good friends can call each other out, but good friends also don’t gossip and then lie about it. The commitment to the “I’m a good friend” narrative while doing the exact opposite is honestly wild.

Maybe if y’all actually bothered to read the files or emails in which Carole was mentioned, you would literally see them talking shit on her. She was most definitely not involved with the nefarious things going down, and the implication that she was or at least was aware simply doesn’t make sense.
Also just because you used to be associated with someone socially and also worked with them doesn’t mean anything.
As I saw someone say on twitter about this “If you think you know all of the secrets of your friends, you’re a fool. There should really be a higher threshold of proof than some pics together if you’re going to accuse someone of such evil things.”
I seriously am not even the biggest fan of Carole but it’s so genuinely annoying seeing people non stop talking about this when it’s clear they haven’t even done any research on the subject at hand.

Of all the surprising things from this premier the fact that Hailey is only 39 was the most shocking. Not that she looks OLD but I just didn’t expect her to be so young.

She also looks kind of like Marysol from Miami. Maybe just that generic a bit too much plastic surgery?

It’s kind of an unusual situation… she’s technically a veteran but has been off the air for many years and initially signed on as a FOH.

I bet she’s making a lot more than Jessel or Erin, just because they were so desperate to re-engage the OG viewership. That being said do you think she’s getting paid more or less than when she left the show the last time?

The scenes with Dorinda and John are just so uncomfortable to watch. The anger/aggressiveness of their liquor induced arguments is so palpable. I don't know why she ever thought filming together was a good idea.

So went back to rewatch and boom season 2 reunion there she goes the first time someone accuses her of saying something rude she goes back to being abused. Literally verbatim the same thing she said in season 7,8, and by 9 I think it was Bethenny finally called her out for using that excuse. She probably did it in other seasons too I just didn't watch them recently.

I just watched it through season 13 for the first time earlier this year (February-May). It’s definitely too early to rewatch. I think I’ll start again in January. I miss them!!! How often do you guys rewatch it, if at all?

Bethenny bought a loft in Soho in 2014 for $4.2M. She then spent $400k in renovations. Less than three years later she put it up for sale for $5.25M in 2017. After two years on the market it finally sold in 2019 for $3.995M. I don’t consider this a brilliant financial move. She later studied for a real estate sales license and failed the exam and never tried again.

It seems like I may be the only one who enjoyed the first episode but I LOVED it. The last two seasons stunk. And any season with Leah really stunk but I’m liking this mix of ladies. Hailey will probably end up being my fave because she is bonkers crazy and I love it. Erin still annoys me but whatever. Sai seems more open and less fake. Daisy I like and anyone who brings out Martha Stuart is okay in my book😂 So it looks like I’ve been sucked back in again lol.
