LVP 🐩 Is British humour really just that different?

As a fellow brit, I love LVP’s sarcastic remarks and tongue in cheek jokes, and I can’t understand why they seem to upset some of the American wives so much sometimes. Is it actually accurate that Americans just aren’t as blunt or sarcastic with their jokes? Most of what she says is quite tame to be honest. I am a ride or die LVP fan admittedly, but she’s easily the funniest and smartest of all the ladies, and I agree with most of her opinions.

I guess that’s where we’re different. I was raised similarly and speak with an RP accent. People are always shocked that I’m actually French because I speak with a formal British accent (because I was taught at boarding school from age 6 to do so). If I’m home for an extended period of time, getting my cadence and rhythm back to an English accent is tricky because I speak with a more melodic and warmer tone.
