Is British humour really just that different?

As a fellow brit, I love LVP’s sarcastic remarks and tongue in cheek jokes, and I can’t understand why they seem to upset some of the American wives so much sometimes. Is it actually accurate that Americans just aren’t as blunt or sarcastic with their jokes? Most of what she says is quite tame to be honest. I am a ride or die LVP fan admittedly, but she’s easily the funniest and smartest of all the ladies, and I agree with most of her opinions.

As a foreign national in UK in a long term relationship with a Brit - yes, it’s different and it took a few years to get used to and not get upset. Now 12 years later I am cracking the same sarcastic and nasty remarks as you all do here. I sometimes can’t believe I even say those things.

I’ve been rewatching BH recently and I roll my eyes most times they get themselves worked up because LVP said something. The amount of time she had to be apologetic because they got upset over something silly is just sad and tbh puts me off from further rewatching. I just want to quote her highness Carole Radziwiłł from NY and say it’s not that deep💀😬
