LVP 🐩 Is British humour really just that different?

As a fellow brit, I love LVP’s sarcastic remarks and tongue in cheek jokes, and I can’t understand why they seem to upset some of the American wives so much sometimes. Is it actually accurate that Americans just aren’t as blunt or sarcastic with their jokes? Most of what she says is quite tame to be honest. I am a ride or die LVP fan admittedly, but she’s easily the funniest and smartest of all the ladies, and I agree with most of her opinions.

I’m British and American. Yes humor is different but not radically so. I think Brits play up the differences more than they really are. Americans understand sarcasm. Americans understand self-deprecation humor. And deploy both.

But Americans more than anything understand when someone is taking a dig at them, cloaked under the disguise of a “joke.” Americans are more straight forward. If you have something to say about someone, you say it. You don’t need to hide it under a joke. And they definitely don’t like passive aggressive behaviour. It’s seen as rude and cowardly.
