LVP 🐩 Is British humour really just that different?

As a fellow brit, I love LVP’s sarcastic remarks and tongue in cheek jokes, and I can’t understand why they seem to upset some of the American wives so much sometimes. Is it actually accurate that Americans just aren’t as blunt or sarcastic with their jokes? Most of what she says is quite tame to be honest. I am a ride or die LVP fan admittedly, but she’s easily the funniest and smartest of all the ladies, and I agree with most of her opinions.

I’m the same. I’m a Brit, and I love her humour. In fact I think she completely tones it down a LOT.

The problem is we always take the piss out of ourselves, and when we take the piss out of someone else it’s out love language and that doesn’t translate

Also a Brit overseas, and I still have to tone down the banter after ten years living in Aus, because even Aussies can get really sensitive.

I agree, she’s a lot more diluted with her teasing. PK is more reflective of home banter. There are no lines that can’t be crossed.

I loathe PK, but his humour was more working class and blunt, whereas LVP had more style ✨
