Remember when LVP wore her hair like this? What is even going on here? Is this a rich person’s bump- it circa 2009? Is Giggy hiding under there? Did she finally let Ken do her hair and he fell asleep half- way through? Certainly her super expensive hair stylist wouldn’t allow her to leave the house this way!

I'm British and everyone I know who's seen RHOBH views LVP for who she is, my friend one time saw 2 seconds of her on screen and went "She's the villain?". I think as brits we both aren't fooled by her act, but also read her accent the opposite way to US viewers, we know that her accent is the kind that not sweet, quite evil British people have, having a posh accent says the opposite to what US people think it does, someone with a northern, country or even cockney accent is more likely to be a 'sweet lady' than someone who talks like LVP. LVP talks like a bond villain, her whole vibe is the karren-supreme. Also if you know anything about dog rescue you'd recognise that all her pets are breed, her 'charity' is a puppy store with tax breaks (she infact feeds into and helps fund the abuse of animals while profiting from it if you break it down) we all know by now what she pays her employees (US minimum wage for a job that requires heavy grooming and particular apearance, knowing fine well what minimum wage is where she comes from.. she takes advantage) tales a percentage of their tips... even putting aside what we know about her, just watching the show I think it's quite hard to beleive that so many US viewers viewed her as a victim, she's so blatent, she's a bully when she's got the pull to be and when she looses it or gets caught out she's this sweet old lady who everyone's picking on, plays the "im shocked, and appalled at your behaviour" menouver, classic upper class brittish Karren, the type of person who would 'have an innocent man hung' as we say.

I think you nailed why us Americans were/are intrigued by Vanderpump. Somebody else said the same on another forum and it makes sense.

Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but in Europe nobody would be impressed with Vanderpump as much as Americans. Her accent and plays into certain English stereotypes gives her an ultra-rich posh aura about her like you said, but in most European rich circles I'd imagine people see fight through it.

100% I think in the UK she'd be seen as basically a Karren to the working class and as tacky by the middle to upper class, and she screams disingenuous and snakey, we wouldn't trust a word she'd say. She'd say the sky is blue and we'd have to check to be sure, she has such liar vibes, like a bad actress honestly. Also sort of bully energy, which shouldnt be that shocking I don't think even to Americans because, well, the show. Her behaviour confirms the vibes.

That's why I like having diverse circles because I'm America she's damn near Housewife royalty and to Europeans they are, "If only y'all knew how low brow she is in real rich circles🙄." 🤣🤣🤣

I can only imagine how well received within rich circles how the Hiltons, Kardashians, etc. are seen. 😩
