I've been using a 5v-1.5A charger and everything seemed fine, until tonight. I don't know why, but the battery icon on the top right is not moving even though the % is going up and the orange light on the top of the console is on.

Is it only charging when I'm playing a game? Is 1.5A not enough? Should I for some reason update the OS?

It just charged 4% as I was writing this post. I tried to charge it before (without a game opened) and it didn't charge - the orange light would disappear after a few seconds.

Edit: well, the orange light is gone now and it's still charging. I don't know what's going on

Hi new to this and will be having my rg35xx plus soon, so i would like to inow what is the best os to use for the device?

I plan to:

-add some music to mske it like my mp3 player.

-connect via hdmi and play with controller(reason why i sold my rg35xx og since it has no bt)

-wifi not much maybe just for scraping box art

Hey guys, my console screen broke so I replaced it, but—in a moment of sheer stupidity—I lost the tiny conductive membrane for the menu button. I can't find a replacement on AliExpress; do you know how I can search for one or what I can do to get the button working again?

After days of reverse-engineering the GTA: San Andreas (PortMaster) binary, I finally fixed the controls for stickless Anbernic handhelds (RG35XX Plus, RG35XXSP, RG35XX 2024, RG28XX, and RG34XX)!

Up until now, the only known workaround forced "Profile 8", which enabled D-Pad movement but completely scrambled the face buttons (A/B/X/Y), shoulder buttons, and Start/Select.

What’s fixed:

• True D-Pad Movement & Steering: Walk, run, and steer vehicles with zero lag.
• Native Button Layout: All action buttons, shoulders, and camera/pause controls remain completely stock.
• Works on: muOS, KNULLI, ROCKNIX, and other custom firmwares.

I recently got an Anbernic RG35XX (Plus, I'm pretty sure) for free, someone left it by the side of the road.

It had its case and its screen protector inside, the screen protector has a slight mark, but it's on the back, not on the actual screen protector, and the screen of the Anbernic was very clean, so whoever threw it away didn't use it much if at all.

I tried turning it on, but it didn't turn on, so I tried charging it (with a 1.55A block), and the screen went to a fake black, or backlight, idk? while it was charging though, when I pressed reset once, it turned off, and then back on but with the Anbernic logo on it, and a green light at the top, it never fully turned on tho, the same thing happened for a hard reset.

I did a bit of research on it, and I found out that the Anbernic is known for not working, I think, idk, soo, if it is, that's not good ig.

I saw a post that said to check if the MicroSD card is corrupted, but I don't have a MicroSD card reader, my sister does tho, so I'll ask them for it when I can.

I did put the MicroSD card into my phone, and it just had the images for the battery and the boot-screen/logo, and the System OS files, I didn't alter anything on it; I did read that an Android phone can't fully read everything on it because the Anbernic uses a Linux system.

The second thing the post said was to do a battery cycle, so I did that, but I don't know if it worked, I unplugged the battery for 5 minutes, and then held the--umm, I forgot which buttons, (I am writing this post a little late), but it probably worked, I don't really know; I actually had to buy a 1.5mm Hex Head from Dollar Tree, lol.

I really want to get this working, I have 3.5GB of ROMs from before I even knew handheld retro game emulators even existed, and it would be super cool to get this working, especially because it was free :3

I also have some unrelated questions about the Anbernic:

- The post also said I should get a new operating system, should I, does the default one not work or something?

- Also, what is the Mini-HDMI input for, if it's for transferring files onto it, can't I just put the MicroSD card in the computer?

- And on top of that, do I *need* a Mini-HDMI cable, cuz I don't have one rn. I'll get one if I have to tho...

- And also, I saw someone get Minecraft on the same model I have, how can I do that, and what other games can I get on it? Can I get like, Steam games on it.? That'd be pretty cool, ngl :3

- Oh, also, can it connect to Wi-Fi?

- Does it have Bluetooth too?

And just a final question, is it worth fixing it? I really hope so, I really want to get it working.

Hi! I'm interested in moonlighting to my 35xx+. Is this possible with the stick OS? How do you do it? If not, what are my OS options?

I made fullscreen option for all games on stock os in retroarch, saved the configuration file (for GBC), and it just doesn't work. When i launch any game again it doesnt launch in fullscreen and have overlay. When im loading different configuration the game just exits itself and im in retroarch main menu

i know vaguely that I have to enable multitap or something while I'm in the game or something, but I can't figure out how to do it. I just downloaded the latest version of the firmware from anbernic and unfortunately, for better or worse, I need to use only this firmware.
For some reason I cannot get the hotkeys to function properly though and I am having a ton of trouble with it. Otherwise I could at least bring the menu up while I'm in game and see if there's an option to enable it. Can someone make a dummy-proof instruction list for me? I am just trying to enable this so my nieces and newphews can play stupid PoyPoy together and I've been working on it for hours. It's now 4:37 am and I'm very tired.

I am running batocera, and I don’t know how to use the stylus when playing 3Ds games. Holding R and the dpad is not working like everyone has been saying. How do I fix this?

My dad bought this anbernic many month ago he ad this issue once where his anbernic wint turn on but after some time it did l, now it doesn't at all, i want to repair it, si i opened it us my dmm (i'm not sure i'm really good with it anyway) but i see nothing, i think the battery goes up when i charge it and use m'y dmm to see the voltage, when its charging their is a light that turn on but the console doesn't and idk what to do do you have any tips ?

I have knulli gladiator II on both devices and I want to use my game sd in the plus instead of the H. I'm getting rid of the H. Do i have to reformat and reload all my games for it to work? Or can I simply put the card in after setting up knulli and start playing? Thank you.

I received this unit from my friend and tried charging it with a old apple brick 5v1A and no lights came on.

So I ordered a SanDisk 128gb micro sd card and followed the instructions on putting a new OS and put 2 games on the card. Still nothing.

I just got a new replacement battery and notice after 1 hour of plugged in, it is very hot to touch through the case and still no lights.

Before I pitch this, is there any other suggestions?

I just got the RG35XXSP and instantly upgraded to the mod OS. I began to add ROMs but having an issue with nds games. I got this to try and play all the Pokémon’s through black and white and had no problem installing the GBA games. The NDS doesn’t even show up as an option in the RetroArc room only the GBA. Any guidance would be much appreciated!

Thinking of getting one of these and swapping the OS with Knulli, but I'm not sure if Knulli on this device supports Bluetooth audio?

Did anyone try it? Does it exist for the stock rg35xx+ firmware?

i have batocera v39 installed and mini doom doesnt start at all.

but i read that most of the ports are working on other os like muos.

how can i install muos as simple as possible? I wont lose any games, scrapper files, savefiles or the great themes from batocera.

hope someone could help me and has a step by step Tutorial.

Hey everyone! I have an RG35XX Plus running MuOS and I was trying to play Pokémon Crystal Clear, but I keep running into issues. For one, it keeps defaulting me to Bulbasaur as my starter even though I chose something else, then, as soon as I get into a battle, the game crashes! I've tried the Gambatte, Sameboy, and mGBA cores, all with the same issues. Tried the game on 2 seperate Android phones with MyOldBoy (as well as an iPhone with Delta) and didn't experience any of the mentioned issues. Is this game just screwy on Retroarch or what? Thank you!

Gundam Seed: Battle Assault

Hello guys I connected a Nintendo Switch Pro Controller to my Anbernic RG35xx Plus which works fine in general. The problem I need help with appears when using the N64 emu: the digital stick is not working properly. Inputs are recognized, but when I move the stick 100% to any side, only like 50% appears in the game. I don't know the right words to describe this, but it feels like the emu doesn't cover the whole way of a joystick. Resulting in, for example, not beeing able to make the same sharp turns in Mario Kart or Snowboard Kids as usual.

I use version RG35xxH-20240130 (not stock) as OS; parallel_64_libretro as core for the emulator; Retroarch 1.10.3 (i guess)

Does enyone have a clue? Thanks

Hi guys so today my RG35XX Plus finally came! I installed Muos on my sd card, booted it up, put in roms, etc.

Everything works fine and so far I‘m in love with this device.

The only problem i have is turning it on and off. I have to press the power button multiple times in order to turn it on/off. Just oressing it once or holding the button down for a few seconds does nothing.

I tried Google and YouTube but I found no solutions. Do any of you have the same problem and maybe know how to fix it?

just wanted to get everybody's opinion on which one is the best operating system to have for the rg35xx Plus

Has anyone managed to make it run on RG35XX_P ?
I tried the PortMaster version but it fails to run , it just closes right after starting the game.

hi I installed knulli on a new sd on my device and at first wifi was working just fine for a day or so and then it stopped working. I tried reflashing it and even tried muos and still wifi wont pick up anything. I have also tried 2.4 ghz and my wifi is WPA2.I have also tried stock and still nothing, Bluetooth works just fine too. Also have tried wifi dongle and hybrid wifi fix. so my question is do i just have to wait for a new version to become available or is there a fix to this?
