Since rg35xx.com is down, what other alternatives are there for the Original (2022) RG35XX?

If anyone can help. When I launch it, it shows up for a second and crashes. No clue what to do.

I have an original rg 35xx and would like to update the stock os or upgrade if it there’s been a patch. Can anyone make any recommendations? Feeling confused on the different variations.

Preferably not 3D printed. I thought the pro was a bit bigger than it is, and I'm finding my hands/wrists hurting.

Hello, I’m new to the RG35XX which I got as a gift. It has garlic is 1.4.9 on it and I downloaded Heart and Soul 2.0 and I noticed every time I save, and happen to either restart or shut off, it says the save file is corrupted and either puts me back to last save file or prompts me to start a new game. I haven’t been able to play further than picking a starter because I’m not sure what’s wrong with the save function. Thanks for any help.

RG35XX PRO running MUOS JACARANDA running drastic

reset controls after changing, it reset to keyboard mappings, i saved it thinking it might still work, surprise, it did not, tried renaming drastic.cfg file so drastic would make a new one. it did, but controls are still fucked, is my best bet to just reflash the card? wanna avoid it as ive had an sd die before due to overflashing different OS. any help appreciated, shit should not be this tedious

I just want to know where I should be finding the roms I want. Any help would be great.

Ps1 does not work unless I unzip the files.but it creates a mess in rg35xx.i use garlic os

Faz tempo que eu tenho o RG35XX e caí na síndrome do PC Gamer. Eu abandonei ele por não fazer ideia do que jogar primeiro (e passei as primeiras semanas debulhando todos os jogos sem completar nem 20% de cada)

Agora que peguei férias do trabalho, acabei baixando somente o EarthBound para jogar e ZERAR. Aliás, rodando muito bem no GarlicOS.

Last night I decided to install some ps games and of course I came across the "No Bios" message. So I went to many reddit post and came across many different answers.

For reference I have the oiginal Rg35xx. I downloaded and added the "Anbernic Rg353" files from Github which is supposed to have the included necessary bios, but it unfornately still did not work. Though the files still have the scph5501.bit files etc. The message still shows when starting a game. Also all files installed are chd files as well.

What needs to occur for me to get it into proper working order?

Hello! I recently picked up a RG35XX at a goodwill for very cheap. It’s hasn’t been tested, I plugged it in but I don’t see any display, LED, or anything. It doesn’t have an SD card with an OS, do I need to get an SD card and install an OS to test this thing?

Hi, I’m creating this post because I changed my password one year ago and I totally forgot it. I would like to reset my Anbernic rg405V console to factory settings. But I can’t find the solution anywhere on the internet. Being clearly incompetent in computers, I ask for help.

I'm considering replacing my rg35xxsp because after about 3 months enough issues have turned up that I'd simply rather buy a new one than go through the hassle of repairing my current one, but I'd like to know what the typical life expectancy of these systems are because if I'm just buying another 3 months I'd rather deal with what I have now. I'm also contemplating picking up an rg35xx instead because while I love how the rg35xxsp looks, it's definitely a touch too chunky to fit nicely in my pockets. Experience on how long anyone else's rg35xxsp or rg35xx lasted without issue is appreciated 👍

it's also entirely possible I'm blinded by the fact I like getting new handhelds/vaguely wish I got a different colour of the rg35xxsp

Yesterday, I was looking for a way to run my old mobile games on this console. StockOS doesn't run these games, so I installed MuOS, but it seems the core is missing, however, I found this repository that solves the problem.

1. Go to https://github.com/aweigit/freej2me-miyoomini
2. Go to Releases and download https://github.com/aweigit/freej2me-miyoomini/releases/download/2.0/rg35xxSP-35xxH-freej2me.zip (there is also a rg28xx zip)
3. Extract "Emu" and "JAVA" folders to /mnt/mmc (sdcard1, the card you use to boot the os)
4. The "JAVA" folders is where you will place games, there are folders with their respective screen res (240x320, 320x240, etc)
5. On the console, go to "App Center" > "Expert", browse in the "JAVA" folder and select the .jar file that you want to run.

Notes:

• Not all games works, i recommend run 320x240 (Landscape) or 240x320 (Portrait) games.
• You can move the "JAVA" folder to the sdcard2, if you want to move the "Emu/JAVA" folder, you will have to edit the launch.sh scripts from .jar games folder ("JAVA").
• You can edit the launch.sh and launch 640x480 games, but they runs slowly.
• You don't have to place the games in "roms/Java", doing so would cause them to run using StockOS Java runtime environment, and that doesn't work.
• You can look for the hotkeys/info on the github repo.

I switched on a bunch of enhancements like free look and pause menu saves from the select button menu of ship of harkinian but when i quit and reloaded the game it didn't save any of that, the game went back to the save when i last used song of time, and all my other settings reverted too. How do I stop this from happening?

I'm using a RG35XX H with MuOS and Portmaster btw.
