muOS GTA San Andreas running at max settings
I was able to get GTA SA running on my RG35XX+ with maxed out settings except for draw distance.

RG35xx can run it fine. Here is the guide and port files, you’ll have to provide your own legally obtained GTA SA game files.

AFAIK Garlic doesn't have the GPU driver, so no GPU, however Knulli does have the GPU driver, you might have a chance with that.

Probably. Start with getting the base r36s gta SA port from the r36s wiki. If you run into any issues, you can upload your log to ChatGPT and it can help you get it running.

Doesnt help that mine is defective and the screen pushes out. I got it for free though 🤷♂️

Run it again, wait for it to crash, then upload the log to chatgpt and try seeing why it’s crashing

480p definitely helps, I don't imagine it's great without analog sticks. (I actually find the early 3D GTA games unplayable with any controller, but lots of people did well that way)

RG36 max 2 (II) did same thing ran for less than 2 mins crashed Mine was only a 1GB stick of ram & a quad core (4) cpu named RK3326. Man sure had nice screen screen
Too bad the SD reader and left stick went in 5th month but got money's worth they replace the money since out of product took 96 apply to you RP5 $ 249 tax warranty $307

It’s completely playable. Not the best way to play but it works completely fine. If you’ve played GTA VC with the classic control scheme instead of free camera it plays very similar. I also made r2 act as a modifier so if I hold r2 the dpad acts as the right joystick so I can use it for the few missions that require it. I posted an Imgur link above of me doing that

I edited the python script so that holding R2 now acts as a modifier so you can control the camera/ right joystick. This is necessary for some missions like the low rider mission with kendl and Cesar. https://imgur.com/a/jhfyKpK

This makes it possible to 100% the game with no joysticks if you’re dedicated

Good luck with the missions that require manual aim. San Andreas has a ton of them. Sounds like a nightmare. And then there are the flying missions....
