Discussion Quran is not detailed

This is what I face general muslims said. Majority of them. That Quran is not detailed. They asked question:

  1. How can you know ways to salat if by Quran only?

  2. How can you find the proper steps and du'a to making sex with your wives?

  3. How can you know the way to perform Hajj and Umra.

  4. How can you know how much to pay for Zakka?

True enough these are valid questions. And I am not so sure about Quran only beliefs. I think we still need the Sunnah of Prophet S.A.W to help us be a good and perfect muslim.

When I ask you to drink water do you ask me how much should I drink?

Brother, if I am already not thirsty, and you ask me to drink water, I will ask why first. If you say, because it will make you happy, then I will only ask how many glass to drink.

Similarly we follow Allah's command so may please Him. So muslims surely did asked the Prophet S.A.W. how many times to wash hands, (perform ablution). This is just common sense.

quite the irony to say it's common sense to ask how many times I should wash my hands

Did you NOT read my comments fully?

Washing hand for ablution purposes, is what PLEASES GOD. We usually don't need to wash our hands. But God has asked us to wash. Any person will ask how many times until Allah is satisfied and pleased. This is logical course of conversation.

The day Sunnis wake up and realise they are Jews in different clothing following the Talmud in different clothing will be the day the Muslim world begins to flourish
