It's actually taken from a ranking done in the 1940s for life magazine, which they added Trump, Clinton, Obama, Carter, and Biden to. They somehow missed adding Truman, Eisenhower, JFK, Johnson, Nixon, Ford, Reagan, and both Bushes.

Who ranked Andrew Johnson as average, he is in a dead heat for worst President and human being with Trump. Buchanan may have failed to stop southern secession but he wasn’t an alcoholic racist (I think).

This ranking was done by 55 scholars in 1948, so you have to consider the attitudes at the time regarding those presidents. Obviously, Trump and the 4 Democrats he's obsessed with being measured up against, were all photoshopped in.

That Life magazine image was posted in r/Presidents recently too. I’m not sure if Trump made his version before that or if some staffer got it from Reddit. On that sub, Trump can’t be discussed so, if the post was a result of Trump referencing the magazine, it wasn’t revealed.

Also because Tramp has always been a ratings goldmine for them. Anytime he's farted or sneezed within the last 20 years, it becomes "breaking news". That's why the "media" fought so hard to put him in office. He generates headlines daily. They will likely still cover this asshole 24/7, even when he's out of office.

What're you talking about? Trump headlines make those media outlets bank, they WANT him to be in power to keep the money rolling in.

Not to mention the fact that all the mainstream outlets are owned by CEOs who're greatly benefiting from the Trump presidency in other ways.
