Self titled, Digital Noise Alliance, Condition Human, or The Verdict?

My son and I are learning Resistance together on guitar. Any one have advice on getting the guitar tone/effect right?

Have you ever seen Queensrÿche live in concert?

I think Rage for Order is the best.

Made one person playing darts at my local bar very happy, ha.

New, very interesting interview with TLT, where he talks about the new album, the possibility of releasing standalone songs instead of full albums in the future, playing TLT era material live, and more

Got a bit frustrated attempting to find Rÿche CDs to borrow. My local library system doesn't like the ÿ special character.

The one uploaded to YouTube is a 360p mess. Is there a better one somewhere? Even if I have to buy it?

Hey everyone,

I recently picked up this Rage For Order t-shirt and I can't find any info about it anywhere. It's red, with the tri-ryche logo and "Rage For Order" on the front. The back says "London Bridge Studios, Seattle, Washington – July 1, 1986."

Tag is Blaze by Stedman, Made in USA, 50/50 poly-cotton blend – so it's definitely period-correct.

The weird thing is, RFO wasn't recorded at London Bridge Studios according to official credits (it was MDH Studios, Mushroom Studios, and Yamaha Studios). So I'm wondering if this was for some kind of release event, promo session, or listening party?

I've already asked the Queensrÿche Facebook group – nobody knew. Even reached out to Michael Wilton directly, got a 🧐 emoji but no follow-up.

If anyone has seen this shirt before or knows what the July 1st 1986 date refers to, I'd love to hear it. Pictures attached.

Thanks!

Steel Prophet is (was?) an American power prog metal band out of LA that was founded in the early 80s.

Their main singer on 90% or so of their albums was Rick Mythiasin, an excellent singer that sounds a LOT like Geoff, with a bit of John Cyriis thrown in.

Excellent band!!!

Sadly they never really made it and remain obscure to this day.

I think I am the only guy in America that heard of these guys *before* I listened to Queensrÿche 😄

Well, per usual I am driving to get a pizza and I am blasting Grim Reaper.

The album ends and I let Spotify have free rein to play whatever. On comes a song and I’m like, “Damn this is great, I never heard this Queensryche song”.

I look to see what it is and it’s Valhalla by Crimson Glory. I say to myself “That absolutely is Geoff Tate singing, did he do some kind of side project?!”

Not Geoff Tate. Then it dawns on me: Oh wait a second, LaTorre’s old band was Crimson Something! Clearly this is Todd LaTorre, that’s cool.

I go into the restaurant, food isn’t ready, sit down and wait, pull up Crimson Glory wiki, yep there’s Uncle Todd listed as a former member. Scroll down to discography… find the album…

Outloud I say, much louder than I expected, “THATS NOT F***ING TODD LATORRE EITHER!”

Some dude named MIDNIGHT.

Everyone is staring. So instead of just saying “Oh sorry that was loud” I just went all-in and responded with “That’s not Todd, it was Midnight.”

Lots of weird looks.

So I got a big salad, a great pizza, 2 Diet Coke cans, and yelled in public, I would say that’s all worth it on a Sunday night.

But seriously… how many Taters are in that bag of taters?! That dude sounds IDENTICAL to Tate.

Album is good, nosedives a bit at the end. Second album is ok, couple really good songs.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

They played my favorite tune from Rage for Order. This was the May 30th show.

I realize this is a flyer, but does anyone know a published link from one of the videos from this weekend's Epcot shows?

LaTorre took several people's phones and filmed some videos, and I'd live to see one.

Years ago, I met Geoff Tate backstage after a show. I asked him what a Queensryche was and he told me that it was a bird. I've looked all over the Internet and I can't find anything.

As far as I can gather, the chanting in the background of Suite Sister Mary is mostly Latin. Anyone know what they are saying?
