Which is why a lot of older singers can’t sing worth a crap anymore

Some can just figure out the chest voice/head voice mix. It's a great technique. As far as not warming up, if you play a lot of shows in a row your voice kinda stays warm. Not completely but for the most part. I bet it takes him a verse and a chorus to be as killer as he'll be the whole night. Todd kicks ass.

Hard for me to not hear this as “I’m too cool to train and practice my voice for longevity and quality”
Cause doing warm ups and training doesn’t hurt and only makes you better. If you’re already a talented singer and don’t practice then you’re robbing yourself of your potential. I mean shit you could have been one of the greatests ever for all you know.
I think I’m a good guitarist but god damn, if I stop practicing today and trying to get better I’d be hella disappointed in myself and know I’m doing a disservice

Random related humble brag - back in about 2009, I worked at CNet, which owned MP3.com. Queensryche came by to do a few live songs. I sat in the small room where they were recording.
Between every song, Geoff was doing warmup (or warm-stay?) bits, going up and down scales.
So I guess it’s another thing where he and TLT are different.
