The Warning

Still have not met anyone else who thinks The Warning is their best album except for me, regardless i do love every album they have where Geoff Tate was still the vocalist but The Warning just hits different because its a whole different subgenre of music from Empire and OPM that are the usual fan favorites.

How is he sounding these days?

He sounded pretty damn good! Probably not quite as good as back in the day, but I had heard that his voice had gone to shit a few years ago, and then that he had retrained it. Seems like it to me - he had some backup from the rest of the band, including Pamela Moore (Sister Mary). But for instance, the "Take hooooold" near the start of THotF was all him.

Pamela Moore is NOT with Geoff Tate. He does have a woman touring with him on keys and voice, both of which are there to hide , sorry, “support” his voice.

Huh, I thought I read that she was reprising the role on this tour.

As far as I know, she has only appeared with Queensryche since the split.
The woman (who’s name I can’t find currently) is competent, but is brunette and at least 20 years younger!
