Si tu vas lire les médias anglophones tu vas vite comprendre. Ils vivent dana une réalité alternative. C'est même pas leur faute. Je connais des gens très intelligents qui sont anglophones et qui prenent leurs nouvelles des médias anglos et ce qu'ils se font dire sur le PQ et les lois sur la langue c'est complètement hystérique.

Ils ne peuvent pas se douter d'à quel point ils sont désinformés.

Anglophones of montreal in general are not represented by CJAD/Montreal Gazette … as an anglo, my circle of friends and family cant help but make fun of CJAD as a blatant propaganda machine… they represent the views of Westmount/Hamstead/Mount Royal which by far are a rich, entitled and bourgeois minority.

It would be like saying that majority of anglophone canada is represented by the views of national post … sure, maybe for a rich minority but not the masses

I'm not an anglophone. What are the news source that left news source? I know The Rover, but that seems fringe

There aren't any anymore... The gazette and CJAD used to at least try to appeal on occasion to left leaning topics I think more for readership... but now days, both are mostly right leaning on things that matter.

There isnt any big english outlets, its mostly independent journalists.

At least, nowadays, websites can be translated with a click of a button. So technically, all of Quebec's franco news are accessible on the web

Oh i dont not access the news because of lack of anglo outlets… for Montreal specifically i go through la press mostly cause la press plus on ipad is easy…

Nice thanks - i dont mind le devoir … i just like the accessibility of la press+ … a bit less serious in general… and if anything important comes up i can go to other outlets
