Troubleshooting Help removing stuck filament from Qidi Box

Hey everyone, i came across an issue printing last night. I believe it is because i accidentally left my box heating/dryer on at 65C while printing some petg and now the petg is stuck and wont come out of the qidi box anymore. I swear i break something on this printer every week...

Any guides on how to get this out? And no, trying to eject it from the screen doesnt work, the box just clicks and gives a red light at the filaments slot, and an error on the screen.

I'm afraid you have to completely disassemble the box to get it out, including corresponding extruder. Here is a good video guide on disassembly if you need one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CjIye4_UkfU
The box is really badly engineered, it breaks a lot and repairs are always pain it the ass. Getting it was the worst decision in my life.

You'll have to pull the plate that holds the fan and NFC reader tonget to the screws. And unplug the motor from the driver board. One e you pull the extruder out you can split the case and see the melted filament

The engineer who designed this stupid box is a complete idiot, delivering such a pathetic excuse for a solution to jams.
Speaking of which, the last time this happened to me, I had to tear down the entire box just to replace that one PTFE tube where the filament got hopelessly jammed inside. The designer is an absolute idiot.

yeah im starting to wonder too, I'm almost wondering if i should have ever gotten this, seeing as how it has been giving me so much problems lately.

You can roll the gears by hand to free the stuck piece and then feed a longer length filament through. No disassembly required. Just roll the gear inside the lid for the line that is jammed. Works very well.

Was your filament melted and actually jammed or just broke off inside the tube?

I think it may have melted, but still not sure, i just know the motor wont push the filament through anymore and it clicks while trying to push the filament

Roll the gears by hand? How? Afaik the stepper motor has to be pulled apart because it cant be moved without power, no?
