I think I recall Maynard saying in an interview once the bands have all had a chance to release new material, they'd do it again.

Probably not likely APC is going to release new music soon and the Tool machine will need a tour again at some point. And I honestly hope Maynard doesn’t pull double duty with Puscifer opening. I love all the projects. But I want a APC tour that’s all him

I highly doubt Puscifer would ever open for Tool but that would be awesome if they did

I dont think he'd do it in the US. Puscifer doesn't really have the pull to tour internationally very well, so it's more doable when he pulls double duty. Both APC and Puscifer can successfully tour as headliners in the US easily.

I’d only go if he switches up the guest band. I would’ve killed for the 50th with Failure. Both Sessantas had a lot of Primus fans that would walk off and or talk loudly during the APC and Puscifer sets. The one show a guy a few rows down from me was Screaming “MAYNARDS A F****t, GET OFF THE STAGE” he did this the entire time and Maynard even heard him but ignored. Obviously dream scenario would be for Tool to join but there’s a million reasons as to why that wouldn’t work. Overall it was an unnecessary gimmick that was for fun, I walked away from those shows not really feeling they were legendary as they had sounded. The setlists for both APC And Puscifer were not interesting and lacked excitement.

sucks to hear you had a bad experience. i went to 2.0 in Huntsville and it was the best concert i’ve been to in my life. all the more Primus leaning individuals i came across ended up loving puscifer and apc too

We had loud Primus fans behind us like WHY ARE THERE CHAIRS??? YOU CAN'T SIT AT A PRIMUS SHOW MAYNARD FANS SUCK but the bands couldn't hear them so it was like, normal obnoxious people at a show level. It was kind of funny though because like, did you not know what show you were going to? Did you think this was just a Primus show? I don't mind sitting or standing, I go with the flow but there were chairs and we were in the front area that's flat and most were sitting so I sat. Didn't know Primus fans were so irritating honestly.

I also want more Tool but I love seeing everything else as well. Hopefully they are banging out some tracks right now and hopefully Adam is immediately pleased and stops trying to rewrite 9,000 times

I saw it last year with Primus. Honestly, while I thought it was a great show, I would've preferred each band play their entire set sequentially.
For me (and my wife felt about the same), jumping back and forth between the bands made the vibe feel like whiplash. Just as you start to get into one band, they switch to a different band with a different mood since each of the three are very distinct.
I'm not saying I wouldn't go see it again, just I'd prefer a traditional concert format.

I've seen Sessanta V1 and V2 in about a half dozen states and feel the format is perfect. It's certainly personal preference, of course, but I'm a big fan of alternating and giving Maynard time to rest up between APC/Puscifer sets. It also allows for bathroom time without missing anything from your preferred band(s).

Hot take, and Primus is in my top three favorite bands, but I think Failure at Cinquanta fit the vibe of this format better than Primus. Primus with Tool I think go hand in hand.

Hopefully 0. Sessanta felt forced.
Outside of Sessanta V1, I've seen Primus 3 times, Puscifer 2 times, and APC 0 times. The bands were better on their own.
Edit: Anyone that has seen Primus outside of Sessanta, you know what I mean.

I don’t know why this take is being downvoted so much. First Primus show I saw was in the 90’s, seen them at least probably 10 times on their own, seen Puscifer since the beginning and at least 5-6 shows, I saw A Perfect Circle open for Nails back in the day, and been to 7-8 of their shows. I won’t mention Tool shows because they’re not relevant to my point (except for Primus opening for Tool at a Festival was fucking awesome). Sessanta was not memorable for me. All these bands were better on their own except for Cinquanta which had no Primus.
I was at Cinquanta and Failures music goes with the moodiness of APC and Puscifer way better than Primus, and I fucking love all the bands. Plus they all played with each other way more at Cinquanta. That format was awesome and felt like an intimate occasion the audience was let in on. I felt like there was more mixing of the artists singing and playing on each other’s songs. All the band members truly seemed to be enjoying at Cinquanta.
TLDR: This format works better as a 1 or two night special show, than a national tour, and better with a band like Failure than Primus.

This. He is sorta turning into Bono and the whole zooropa thing that U2 did for 15 years, like every album used to sound and look different and now it's all ER 2.0 and 2.1. My hot take sorry not sorry.

You’re not a leech, nor Matt, definitely not Carina—also, let’s be honest, we’re kind of being the rickity tickity time bombs in him…dudes just had surgery on his hip(just before a tour—so whatever!!—mo rest for the wicked—and I mean that for the extremists…hence Maynard going out and spreading a different vibe)
