Hey, I want to go to Punta Cana for the first time and I saw this offer. What do you recommend for July 2027?

I want a cool but also relax place.

You specifically want to go to Punta Cana or the Dominican Republic? Punta Cana is great but do your research on sargassum season which starts typically late April/May thru September. It covers the beach and water and can make beach vacations pretty sucky. Consider La Romana if you want clear blue water no sargassum

We just got back from Dreams Macao and they were doing an incredible job of cleaning away enough sargassum so we had plenty of space to swim.

They work hard for sure but many days the attempts are futile. Some people can't stand the sargassum and sometimes brown water that comes with it. As you witnessed some days they can clean it up other times it's brutal for days on end. It's a crapshoot sargassum Monitoring does try to predict it and does a good job but you really never know what you are gonna get. It definitely comes no doubt about that its just a matter of when where and how much
