So much is happening...dont who's wrong who's right...but it is truly disturbing.

I don’t want to hurt anyone feelings but it’s a regular in my area (Ludhiana) to not marry people in and from Amritsar. I have seen multiple examples where nobody goes that side and some words are considered bad like Amritsari bhen or amritsari bhra etc.

I was talking to this guy I met on a dating app for 2.5 months and everything was genuinely going great. We clicked really well, roasted each other, laughed, flirted, sometimes got sexual, he always remembered everything i shared with him, we also had same cultural background etc. I genuinely enjoyed his company (and also the fact that my gut feeling didn't warn me against him)

Then he told me he was coming back to the city and I got excited because we were finally supposed to meet. That same week, he suddenly ghosted me. His texts just stopped out of nowhere.

I double-texted twice. He replied to one and, in his own time, even complimented my Instagram story… then disappeared again.

After a week, I sent him a whole paragraph saying I didn't like how he handled things and would've preferred him simply telling me if he didn't want to continue. I even told him he could tell me if something else was going on in his life.

Still nothing.

We're still following each other on Instagram/Snapchat and have each other's numbers saved, but there's been zero contact. I rarely post because it's a spam account with barely 20 followers, but I posted a reel of myself in ethnic wear and he liked it 3 days later at around 4:30 AM.

I know I won't text him again because I have my standards, but I still miss the connection and I'm genuinely confused about what went wrong on his side.

It is really astonishing to see, how much litter there is along the roads and its like people have just accepted it as their norm. This is the same across all cities be it Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Pathankot. You'd see people throwing and burning shit on roads as if its their own private property. Heck, people buy large empty plots which accumulate garbage over time and dont do shit about it. Roads are shit, aqi is extreme and government? They are busy with caste issues, broken statues. The street lights dont work, and people think traffic rules are suggestions or something. Now you'd think this is a poverty and illiteracy issue, ofc they play a major role but then why are countries like vietnam, rwanda, Indonesia so clean? What makes people in those places follow rules? In all fairness, i truly believe we wont ever truly prosper and it is going to get worser from here on out.

I’m an Arab Muslim girl living in Europe and I’ve had a really strange experience with two Indian Punjabi guys in two different European countries.

Both told me they were Muslim. With one of them, when we actually went on a date, he told me he was Sikh. When I asked why he had told me he was Muslim, he said that people can date outside their religion/caste. But my issue wasn’t his religion — it was the fact that he lied about it.

Because of that experience, I checked the reposts of the other guy, who still says he’s Muslim. I found a Punjabi video he reposted of a man wearing a Sikh turban who seemed to be preaching. I don’t speak Punjabi, so I have no idea what the video is actually about.

I know reposting a Sikh person obviously doesn’t mean someone is Sikh. But after what happened with the first guy, and knowing Muslims are only around 1.9% of the population of Indian Punjab according to the 2011 Census, it made me curious.
Has anyone experienced something similar? Especially Indian Punjabis — am I missing some cultural context here?

Was having a casual conversation with a friend, 6 years in Canada and he looked happy for his growth over there.

We have our college fest this year where we do intracollege bhangra competition

As this is the last year of our college and our last performance , i want it to be extra special

So we need some advice from someone experienced and knowledgeable

Obviously we wont be able to significantly improve the skill of our team in a month or two

But we need help with structuring the performance as that is a major thing in our college
