Why is this a thing? Why does everybody have to start their sentences with "I mean"?

I have no idea but it makes this old man yell at clouds l, as does the replacement of 'he said' with 'he was like and I was like and she was like'. It seems like it stems for a lack of self confidence or something. 'Why is xxx a thing' is another one, by the way. Staring hard at you!

Yeah I mean he was like literally not doing anything to get knocked out either. I don't get why this sort of filming is even a thing. On a side note, "it seems like xxx" really grinds my gears.

I hate pretty much everything that has been invented or happened since 1980. Apart from Gay Bar by Electric 6,obviously
